So we've got a few different parts of the city up where you can see some of the detail in areas where there's detail to see but that also tends to give a disjointed view of the city. That has been mostly on purpose as there were/are large parts of the city that are still under construction. In all likelihood this will continue to be a WIP for most of this year if not into next year. However, we thought it might be fun to post up shots of the whole city from time to time so you can see how things are progressing. So that's what we've got below. Enjoy.
About this creation
Everything below is from 16 Jan 2012
This is a panoramic shot that's been stitched together to try and give you a wide shot of the whole city. On the left side of the pic you can see the container terminal then moving north you see where the warehouse district, church, and school will be. Moving on you enter Lockridge Estates. As you cross over the ravine you'll see Lockridge Farms. Taking an immediate right you'll be on Main Street. The west side has been fairly well documented already. The large green patch in the middle is where the city hall and central park will be. The small lake in the middle of town will also be home to the elevated rail's main train station soon. Moving farther east down Main Street you can see more development - a law office, bank, the local tv station, more shopping and dinning. At the end of Main Street you'll see Mercy General Hospital and behind it in the corner is a construction yard where some new buildings will be underway soon. Taking another right onto Stewart Ave you'll see the GHFD's Fire House, the local Octan Service Station, some more fast food, and the future home of the GHPD. Round the bend is all undeveloped at the moment. The Lego Agents Agency has made plans for taking over a large area for a base and training area and then the rest of the space has been earmarked for the Godwins Hollow International Airport and Space Center.
I'm not sure how much you're really going to be able to see on the image above so here's a quick Photosynth of the city too. Godinws Hollow Photosynth
Just adding in a few tighter shots - here's the container terminal.
This area is under development - the warehousing district, town church, and local school will all eventually be in this area.
This is a local neighborhood - Lockridge Estates.
Lockridge Farms is also under development
Main Street West. Outside of some minor road work and a small apartment complex this part of town is pretty much set.
This is Main Street East. Here you can see the right side of what will be Central Park and the City Hall plot. At the moment the law offices of Pearcy, Luney, & Stewart are there, the First National Bank & Trust, and Chick-fil-A! Chili's, TV2, and the start of a new shopping/hotel district is popping up.
Here you can see the city's hospital - Mercy General, a small construction yard in the background, and the new GHFD Fire House.
Here's the GHFD again and the Octan Service Station
This is the side of the service station, more fast food, and the future home of the Godwins Hollow Police Department
One of my fav city set ups on here.
I've been mostly looking at the fire station build amazing.
I love how it is build around the concept of a big city design where it's old fire stations don't fit anymore for modern fire fighting, and made it work.
We're working on it - its a very big plan right now. Two jet ways, two story terminal, parking lot, control tower, radar tower, taxiway, runway, and two hangers. Keep watching - may see some progress on it this summer. We've also got some minor additions to add in the next few days - a bookstore, hardware store, shoe store, record store, clothing store, art gallery, dance studio, and movie theater! Thanks for stopping by.

Nice! I think Godwin's Hollow needs an airport next. :)
Thanks for your comment. As far as the upside down plates are concerned they're just place holders until I can get the appropriately colored base plates in place. They won't be there in the finished product.
