This is my first attempt in making my own, custom Heroica board. Hope you like it :)
The castle entrance. This is where all players starts.
I call this table the "starting table". When a player is standing next to it they can pick up things from the table. Only one thing per player and turn.
A pile of wood-obstacle. You need too burn them down to be able to pass, just use a torch on the woods to se it turn to ashes :)
A Goblin Guardian protecting the walk on water ability. To learn it, just stand next to the blue paper and "read" it. More about this ability later.
Another Goblin Guardian protecting a ... blank sheet of paper!
What's so special about a blank sheet of paper maybe you wonder?
Well, if you take the Staff of Water in the prison, you can use it on the blank paper to turn it into a walk on water ability.
Closer pic of the Staff of Water.
A pic showing the entrance to the first boss.
This is the first boss in this custom Heroica table. You don't actually have to defeat him to continue, but defeating him will give you a great advantage towards the second boss (haven't decided what the "great advantage" will be yet). If you don't care about great advantages you can just learn the walk on water ability and go that way instead.
If you plan to take on the Minotaurus, it may be a good idea to stock up on potions. You can do that at the potion shop.
The potion shop does always have two potions in stock, never more never less.
Everytime you buy a potion you roll a dice with flat coloured tiles before the next player starts his turn.
If the dice is showing red, you take one health potion and place it on the empty stud where the potion you bought just were. And if the dice is showing yellow, you take a strength potion and so on.
The blue tiles here are water, you cannot walk on them unless you've learned the walk on water-ability. But after you've learned it, there is no time limit for how long you can use this ability.
A random forest pic.
Another random forest pic.
And another rando... But hey, what's that? It's a blob-enemy!
Blob-enemies have 0 atk and are easy to hit. In fact, they are so easy you don't even need to roll a dice to kill them!
So what's the point with having them in the game at all?
When you hit a Blob, you walk two step backwards with your character and...
... the Blob is splitted up into three smaller Blobs, that can only be killed with one hit each. Special attacks won't work on them. Irritating? Yes!
A closeup pic on one of the Goblin Guardians. Goblin Guardians are tough enemies with +2 attack and +3 defence (I will explain more on how defence works in another creation)
This board is not finished atm, and I haven't made up all the rules for the Minotaurus boss and the second boss (for which i don't even had decided the look of yet), that's why i'm not write so much about the rules right now.
Thanks for reading, comments always appreciated. :)
