Previously on I Choose You!, Leon found himself imprisoned after crashing a Team Rocket helicopter. Currently, his plans for escaping are being formulated. Meanwhile, D, Caleb and Jaeger overheard a mysterious Team Rocket trainer cryptically talking about a Pokemon enhancement program. With new information and orientation about the whereabouts of Team Rocket's weapon, the young trainers have a difficult decision to make. Thus, our story continues...

D: Interesting... I wonder who he is...
D: Okay, you heard that guy. Let's turn around and get that weapon!
Jaeger: Wait, shouldn't we go see what that enhancement program is? It may have something to do with our stolen Pokemon.
D: Even if we knew where our Pokemon were, these members of Team Rocket are getting stronger and stronger the farther we go. We're not going to get our Pokemon back without the proper strength. Come on, Caleb, let's go.
Jaeger: Hey, when you find the weapon, don't kick too much butt without me.
D: Don't worry Jaeger, we'll be sure to rescue you from these goons before we leave. Oh, and Jaeger? Good luck.
Jaeger: You too, D.
Meanwhile...
Leon: This should come in handy.
Leon: Let's see you take a nap now! Ha ha ha!
Leon: Hey, guard! How's your nap going? Despite what your boss might say, I think it's important to take a nap at work every so often.
Guard: Grrr... how about some quiet!?!
Leon: Team Rocket is for pansies!
Guard: That does it! Go, Graveler!
Guard: You're gonna get taught a lesson, kid!
Leon: Oh, crap.
Meanwhile...
Jaeger: Looks like this project thing should be at the end of the hallway.
Leon: HELP!
Jaeger: Leon?
Jaeger: I'm coming!
Guard: All right, kid, time for your first lesson in Don't-Mess-With-The-Guard 101.
Guard: Aahh!
Jaeger: Hey, Leon! Good to see you! Whoa, hey, look out for that Graveler, Scyther!
Leon: Not a problem, Jags!
Leon: Graveler, return! Heh, you'd think that they would have some sort of fail-safe on Pokeballs if another trainer tried to release or return your Pokemon.
Leon: And this must be my Jolteon.
Leon: All right, we can go. Scyther's looking great, by the way.
Jaeger: Looks like you haven't done too bad yourself! Jolteons are pretty rare. Just make sure Team Rocket doesn't get their dirty hands on it again.
Jaeger: Come on, let's go this way. I heard about some sort of enhancement program that Team Rocket is working on. With any luck, our Pokemon will be there.
Leon: Sounds like a plan.
Jaeger (hushed voice): Hold up, here we are.
Rocket Scientist: Doctor's log, entry 34. Pokemon enhancement program in its final stages. After repeated failures, a slight variation to the enhancement formula ended in huge success. Four basic Pokemon, a Charmander, Kabuto, Seel, and Rhyhorn have successfully been enhanced and shipped to Viridian City.
Rocket Scientist: Now, testing of the formula for Pokemon that were once thought to not evolve is underway. So far, the formula has failed, but glimmers of hope have reached us from the Johto region, and we remain ambitious in our work.
Rocket Scientist: For billions of years, nature has been able to outsmart science.
Rocket Scientist: No more.
The rocket scientist throws a lever with a clicking sound. The lights dim.
The contained Pokemon is surrounded by massive amounts of energy, and it cringes and cries out in pain. The so-called enhancement program seems to be doing more harm than good.
The lights return to normal, and the Pokemon seems to be unconscious at the very least.
Rocket Scientist: Hey, go check on the test subject, will you? Losing another Pokemon will bring us back to square one.
Assistant: Yeah, plus how the heck would we move a dead Onix out of here? They don't exactly fit on a hand cart.
Leon (hushed voice): That's Brock's Onix! We need to get it out of here.
Assistant: Well, it's vitals are stable, that's good. Smells a little crispy in here, though. Let's just stick him with a Full Heal and keep testing.
Leon: That's NOT going to happen.
Rocket Scientist: What?! Intruders!
Rocket Scientist: Remove these pests, Vaporeon!
Leon: Seriously?
ZZZZAAAAPPPP!!!
Rocket Scientist: Yikes, hide!
Leon: Come on, Onix. Let's get you out of here.
Meanwhile...
D: I think this is it.
Caleb: No guards?
D: Something isn't right here, I don't think anyone wants to be here.
Caleb: Neither do I.
D: Whoa...
???: You... Are not Team Rocket... Yet you are in their headquarters. Interesting...
Caleb: What is it? Some sort of robot?
???: I am no machine. This armor is a trick; it was supposed to protect me, but it dulls my power. I am Mewtwo, the most powerful Pokemon of all time.
Caleb: I've never heard of a Mewtwo before, what region do you come from?
D: And if you're so powerful, why don't you just escape?
Mewtwo: I was created, not born. I am the living embodiment of science over nature. Yet I am still just a clone; a shadow of true life. These thoughts have given Team Rocket difficulty in controlling me, so they keep me here. This suit combined with this cell dull my powers to the point where merely communicating with you is an arduous task. If you let me free, I will answer any more questions you have.
D: No, Caleb. This doesn't look good. How can we trust this Pokemon if he was created by Team Rocket? When I heard about this weapon, I didn't think it would be the most powerful Pokemon in existence. Best to keep Mewtwo here.
Caleb: No Pokemon deserves to be caged like this. Our goal is to free our Pokemon, but if we have the ability to, we need to free others too. We can't let Mewtwo simply be a trophy in Team Rocket's closet.
Caleb: Plus, anything that Team Rocket doesn't have, they can't use against us.
Caleb: There, Mewtwo. The power to your cell is off.
Mewtwo: Perhaps some humans are indeed capable of compassion... I am indebted to you, Caleb and D. The Pokemon you speak of, they are not here. I sense that they have been moved to Viridian City, where they will fight like slaves. Go, but be wary of what you will find there.
Mewtwo: Now, you must leave. There is a garage that leads out of the base just around the corner. My power has returned, and Team Rocket must pay for their insolence. You should be running...
D: Well, that went well. Let's get outta here!
Caleb: At least we know where our Pokemon are. Run!
KABOOM!!!
Meanwhile...
Jaeger: Looks like we're going to Viridian. Thanks for the tip, doc.
Rocket Scientist: You will pay for this! Nobody crosses Team R-
The ground rumbles and shudders from multiple explosions, and Leon and Jaeger lose their footing.
Rocket Scientist: Quick, to the magnet train! It's the closest evacuation route!
Assistant: Right behind you!
Leon: We should follow them, they seem to know where they're going, and we're in plenty of danger here.
Jaeger: Caleb and D are here too, though, and they will be heading towards a garage that's not too far from here. If we hurry, we should be able to make it.
Leon: Whatever happens, we have to go NOW!

Okay, time for choices! Remember, you can only make a choice if you are in the CYOA.
Caleb and D, you have no choices this round, except for running your tails off before you get incinerated.
Leon and Jaeger: Danger is imminent, but your route of escape is unclear. The closest escape route is the magnet train tunnels, but D and Caleb might be in danger. You know where they would be heading, and it's not that far, but it's in the direction of the explosion. You can either:
Meet up with D and Caleb to escape as a group
Escape to the train
This choice is a group one, and if you choose differently from your partner, your choice will go down to a vote by the people of the CYOA planning group.

Another freaking amazing episode!
