The Acid Test Cars
I made these last night for a bit of fun. I am gearing up for another big moc soon but I thought I would build these for a bit of light relief.
About this creation
Inspired by Nils O's and Angka Utama's 4 and 5 wide collections. The front of the Yellow and Orange ones are directly inspired by Nils' excellent Porsche 911, Model 964 .

These are no where near as good as theirs but I hope you like them. Sorry about the photo quality (again).

The rear of this car is 5 wide reducing to 4 at the front. The rear was inspired by a De Tomaso Pantera.

4 wide only. The front was inspired by a GT40 with the large scoop in the middle of the hood.

Another 4 wide. Rear end inspired by a Porsche 911.

Maybe these guys need a transporter? ;)

I think that is a great idea to make a 4-wide transporter, (will it be the first 4-wide transporter, I haven't seen any).

I'm not familiar with all the parts you use here. But I do recognize the greatness of these minimal designs. My favourite of yours were always the small cars, this is something to remember on once again. Congratulations!

Hi Joe, seems that you about as active as George Staples, what a way to come out of a brickblock-MOCblock, or in Dutch : Lego-block ( Dutch translation of a Lego part is 'Legoblok' :-) ) I know at the end of a long day my puns aren't that sharp :-) . Anyway, about the cars: I like the color schemes of the cars, make them really sporty. The yellow one has a sincerely spot on GT40 front, the orange has the best rear I saw in a 4 wide. Roof is like a Ferrari breadvan... Congratz on being in competition with Angka !!!

Thanks guys :) Really please you like them. The rear of the orange one and the front of the yellow are my favourite parts. @ Nils Thanks, you have probably noticed the front of the yellow and orange ones use a similar technique to your latest Porsche. I am also building a mini 911 but it still needs a little work. As you know it is so much easier building concepts (at this scale) than building real life cars. Thanks for the inspiration :).

Orange, Lemon and Lime :-) These are Ace! I like them all and can't really choose a favourite. And Joost is right, stop being modest! As good as anything i've seen. I like Joosts idea for a transporter use panels so the trailor doesn't have to be too wide. I've got about 10 Tiny Turbos lying around, I must get round to posting them.

Come on, Joe, don't be overmodest! Those three beauties are awesome! I can't say which one I like most, but I can say which details I like most: The combination of front fenders with the transparent cheese wedges on the yellow and the orange one and the rear end of the green one. I'd like to use one of these details on one of my next 4-wides (with credits, of course!). The black/neon colour scheme is cool, too. And I agree, they definitely need a transporter, a cool black one, of course (maybe with light blue stripes). And as they are test cars the transporter has to have a closed box (more like Tom's Mercedes than your Fiat). Great job! What a nice way to "treat" your MOCblock! :-))

Thanks Thomas I think a black transporter is needed ;). @ Ape - haha a point for each car ;). All genuine lego pieces. The gold ones came with a Lightning McQueen set and the silver ones I got from Bricklink a few months ago.

Nice stuff - are those multi-spokes Lego wheels? They look ace. Can't really give this more than a 3/5, but they're still good to see.
