Space Dock 7 was designed to serve the fleet as a repair facility whilst being capable enough to keep up with military speed. Her dimensions are dictated by her "clientele" of ships - namely the Exelion Frigate, Jotunheim Corvette and Takeshi Maru Missile Cruiser. This MOC was greatly inspired by Dunechaser's fantastic UEF Ship Recovery Vessel. Go check it out.

Armaments: 2 x Phalanx IV CIWS, 2 x double quantum torpedo tubes.

The superstructure up close, with the bridge above (flanked on both sides by the quantum torpedo launchers), and the larger-windowed viewing gallery below it.

Interesting idea to have a dock that is mobile. It's something I'd never do though. I'd have maneuvering thrusters at the very most, but no engines, unless they were to stop the docks from re-entering an atmosphere, which would be bad for business...
