Wishing well built for our wedding in 2009

About this creation

I built this wishing well for our wedding back in March 2009. It was a late decision to make one out of Lego, after the cardboard one we tried building ended up looking like a garbage bin.

I built it in a couple of hours on the weekend before the wedding. The Lego flags and the paper 'Wishing Well' flag were my fiancee's (now wife's) finishing touches.

This has been sitting on top of the bookshelf in the lounge room for the last three years without cleaning or covering up - It's irrevocably tied to our marriage now, so imagine how dusty it's going to be in another 50 years!

My wife painted these little Lego dogs to resemble our two dogs, who were in attendance at the wedding reception:
