On the lush island of Moria, Avalonia lies Kaliph Moria. The embassy of the Kaliphlin Guild in the city of Moria. Built from the native resources of the area, but also with some sandstone imported from their homeland, the Kaliphlin Guild strategically chose a location near an inland spring. Used to the rigors of the desert and the constant struggle for water, the Kaliphites felt this would be a stroke of genius. Of course, after living in Avalonia for a while, they realized that water is about as abundant as sand is in their home desert. Still, it made for a nice view, so the Kaliphites are still happy with their location!

Sweet - I really like your use of colour in the various embassy buildings, and your half-round tower is something I'm thinking about for a future build. |

Lovely castle. I especially like your use of grill plates. You managed to keep the texture without losing the medieval feel. I like the landscape and I don't think it suffers from being bare in patches since it is close to a busy castle. |

Great job! I love the waterfall. The rock work is superb, and the waterfall is amazing! One quick question, how many grey cylinders did you use for the tower? Keep up the amazing work! Thanks for commenting on my Mina's tiring creation!
Not sure off the top of my head, but there were 13 or 14 brick layers(height), and I think 9 1x1 rounds per layer. So it is somewhere in the 130 range. |

Don't worry, my previous comment was a compliment. It's great that you have your own style (which, by the way, I'm a fan of). |

Sweet Castle Kayne! This is a huge step up from your previous builds. My only suggestion would be thicker greenery on the ground - but in saying that I had to look before I found the plain patches :) This in no way detracts from the overall build, and that is a brilliant creation! Can't wait to see how you further develop Mate! ~Thoy
Thanks Thoy! My Greenery is one of the parts of my collection that I have not put enough attention in to. I actually just Bricklinked a bunch more plants and leaves, so that I can boost the trees, flora and fauna going forward. I guess I spent too much time and money buying up the Light Bley pieces :) |

Congrats Kayne! This is a fantastic MOC! You've developed a style of your own; I could tell that you built this when I saw the thumbnail. Great work.
Not sure if that's a good thing or not??? But I'll go with it, thanks!! |

Impressive! The landscape enhances the brilliant castle, and it looks amazing. The design is perfect, and you really avoided grey-wall-syndrom well. I also really like the interior. Now you should build the mines of Moria... :)
Yeah....the mines of Moria would be a stretch for my collection! But I have always wanted to go for that...someday maybe |
