8827 Minifigures Series 6 Identification Guide
A guide to identifying the new 8827 Minifigures Series 6 in their packets.
About this creation

Classic Alien, Highland Battler, Sleepyhead, Lady Liberty, Bandit, Flamenco Dancer, Minotaur, Clockwork Robot, Leprechaun, Roman Soldier, Surgeon, Intergalactic Girl, Skater Girl, Butcher, Mechanic and Genie.

Introduction:

This mini-review focuses on how to identify 8827 Minifigures Series 6 figures in their packets so you can avoid purchasing doubles.

The parts to feel for are listed next to the name of each minifigure as well as warnings of minifigures with similar parts.

Guide:

Classic Alien- The ray gun and 3l rod make this figure fairly easy to find, but check for the odd-shaped head- this minifigure could be confused with the Intergalactic Girl or Minotaur.

Highland Battler- This minifigureís hair is quite large and surprisingly smooth, so try feel for it. The sword and shield are also good pieces to find, just make sure the shield is round and not rectangular like the Roman Soldierís.

Sleepyhead- Feel for this minifigureís teddy bear- once you have found it it is easily identifiable. I do not recommend only feeling for the new hair mould- it is new so you could confuse it with something else.

Lady Liberty - She is probably one of the easiest figures to find, just feel for the dress. Once you have found it try finding her torch. If you canít find any of her accessories, you probably have a Flamenco Dancer.

Bandit- The best parts to search for when you are looking for a Bandit are his hat (like Indiana Jonesí), scarf and guns. The scarf is a small board piece like on the Star Wars Chewbacca figure. The gap between the front and back is big enough for a torso to fit in. The guns are actually easy to find as well, just check that they are not straight like other series 6 minifiguresí accessories.

Flamenco Dancer- Like the Statue of Liberty figure, this minifigure can be found by identifying her dress. Feel for her fan and check that you canít feel any other accessories in the packet.

Minotaur- The Minotaur is one of the easiest minifigures in the entire series to feel because of its bulky head piece. If you arenít certain the piece you have found is the Minotaurís head, check by finding his axe blade and pole. Make sure you find the blade as well though- the Intergalactic Girl and Classic Alien also have a 3l rod piece.

Clockwork Robot- This minifigure is the only one without the standard head piece. His head is slightly larger than a 1x1 brick. You can also identify him by feeling for his neck bracket and the small key piece that attaches to it when you assemble him.

Leprechaun - The Leprechaunís hat, pot and small legs are very easy to find. It is also the only figure in this series to include round 1x1 parts.

Roman Soldier- The Soldier has 3 pieces that help you identify him- his helmet, spear and shield. The shield is a new mould that is rectangular and curves in the front.

Surgeon- Feel for the 2x2 plate that this minifigure carries, then confirm by finding her syringe or cap piece.

Intergalactic Girl- To find this figure, follow the same steps that you used on the Classic Alien. Once you have found the gun and laser, you should be able to feel her bulky hair, helmet and visor. If you canít find these things, then put the packet back.

Skater Girl- The skateboard is the obvious piece to feel for, for this figure. On the top it is flat like the base all the figures come with, but has 2 raised clips on the bottom. You can also identify this minifigure by finding the skateboard's wheels. They are similar to the Statue of Libertyís torch, but are much thinner.

Butcher- To find the Butcher, you should search for his knife, steak and hat. The steak piece has quite a unique shape that is easy to feel through the packet.

Mechanic- The best way to identify a mechanic is to find his 1x3 toolbox. His wrench can also be used to identify him, but it is similar to other small accessories belonging to other figures.

Genie- The Genie is easy to find because he has no legs piece. Feeling for his round turban and his small lamp are also good ways to find him.

I hope that you find this guide useful and that it helps you complete your set of 16 or helps you to find the individual figures that you want.

I am sorry, but this isn't for sale. This MOC is intended to help you acquire your own series. You can buy them from this store though: http://www.firestartoys.com/Shop/LEGO-Minifigures/Minifigures-Series-6.html

Nice guide! I bought a bunch of these recently, and was able to find most of the ones I wanted by feeling, although I did get a couple of weird looks in the store. Lol By the way, it's VERY easy it was to find the Roman Soldier - the long spear is a dead giveaway.

Quoting Michael Kringe Sometimes it is very hard to feel the correct minifigs, but with your wonderful guide it will be much easier for many people! I'm sorry that I didn't comment earlier, but my MOCpages conection is bad today...
