About this creation

Engine 1 and rescue 1 arrive on scene.

Firefighters establish a control point and put out any spot fires.

Engine 2 and the Batallion Chief arrive on scene with some much needed back up.

The driver of the dump truck stumbles out the door in shock.

EMTs help the driver of the dump truck onto a stretcher.

Firefighters find the driver of the Smart car wedged between 2 trucks in the wreckage.

Firefighters pull the driver of the Smart car from the wreckage. He is screaming, "ARRRRGGHH HELP ME!!!"

The Smart car driver's leg was severed at the hip. He is being treated for severe blood loss.

Meanwhile, the crew of Engine 2 search the wreckage for the driver of the garbage truck. Then firefighter Jim Brickhead yells, " I see him!"

The crew of Engine 2 pull the deceased body from the wreckage.

Firefighters cover up the body until the Medical Examiner arrives.

The Smart Car driver is lifted into the back of the ambulance with his hip and leg heavily bandaged.

Rescue 1 leaves the scene in a hurry to transport the Smart Car Driver to the Stud County regional hospital.

Firefighters clean up the scene.

Firefighters pack up their equipment.

On the 25th of January the BCFD were called out to a multi vehicle MVA. When the BCFD arrived they didn’t know what to expect. Engine 1 and, SC BC EMS Squad 1 were the first responders. Engine 2 and the Battalion Chief arrived soon after with some much needed back up. Engine 1 and Tanker 1 from Norbrick City were also dispatched but by the time they arrived on scene the BCFD were packing up and moving out. It is believed that the driver of the garbage truck had a heart attack at the wheel which coursed the truck to veer off course and into the path of a moving train. A smart car then smashed into the back of the garbage truck and then to top it all off dump truck slammed into the smart car wedging it between the two trucks. All casualties where taken to the Stud County Regional Hospital in Norbrick City. Crash investigators are describing the incident as horrific.
