Because race car. This seemed to me to be the most logical, practical, and reasonable thing to do since a battering ram was out of the question.
About this creation

I know, I know, I said it'd be neat to build an angry destructive behemoth, but think about it. There's no oil refinery or gas station in the post apocalypse.

Most of my recent building escapades have lacked proper spoilers, so to make up for it this car has 3.

Massive fender flares make the car look even shorter. I'd totally drive this thing now, but it'd be super twitchy on the track, since it's like 10ft long or something.

I still have problems with back bumpers, so I lobbed it off and replaced it with diffusers and some weird exhaust arrangement. Vertically placed in tribute to the new engine powering this thing.

Now I've got you all wondering, don't I? What could it be, a V6, a V8!?! A V12????

Well stop guessing, I'm not there yet! =P

Bright "Iz filled with burny liquid" red gas tank.

The limey seat returns, except unlike the Datsun, I wanted a proper shoulder-supporting seat. Also, a few minor details like cameras and such occupy the dash.

And here it is: A Suzuki Hayabusa engine. =P 2nd fastest motorcycle in the world, mind you. And don't think I'm being unreasonable, because this has been done for real. Except the real one had it mounted in the passenger's seat space somehow.

Some details, adjustable front spoiler...

Can lock into 2 different spots.

Some side air vents

Ice skates, axe heads... very blade-y rear diffusor indeed. Spell check is demanding that I spell 'diffusor' with an 'e'. Neva!! =P

I think I might have *spoiled* this car a bit! =D Get it, spoilers and spoiled, cuz it's spoi- Okay I'll stop, sorry.

Thanks 4 viewing!

It shows all characteristics of a rally car. It has some great detailes, for example the seat or the spoiler made of doors. The colour scheme is also good. Very well done! |

I'd like to take a look at your garage - you don't dismantle them, do you? - Another awesome build, epic MOC.
No, I definitely have to dismantle them, I only have enough chassis parts for 3 cars at a time. There's probably enough for more, but I do like to build things besides cars on occasion. |

Wow, those fenders really are massive! Nice work with the coloring on the side, and the side vents. And at the rate you turn out new cars, the army of chinchillas theory is seeming pretty plausible... |

Bonkers! Chinchillas gone mad ;-) Now I see why you built this car lol Great upgrades! My neighbour wakes me up when he fires up his Hyabusa in the morning, that things not pretty, it's like a rocket ship on wheels. Great job dude! And Joe I reckon he has a family of chinchillas working on the cars night and day lol |

How on earth do you build these things so quickly? I sit for hours on end and do nothing but build on a daily basis, sometimes it gets old, but not often.

Wow Chincilla, this racing mod of your Z600 is cool :-)) The Hayabusa engine is a great idea, they put one of these in a Smart fortwo, too. There are some videos on youtube with a lot of sliding and even a drag race agains a Ferrari with the Smart winning it :-)). This car would be great for ice racing. Great job! :-)) |
