If you don't mind a little friendly constructive criticism, I think people like the other one better is 'cause it is a little on the thin side. :( It looks kind of scrawny compared to the older version. It could use a little "fleshing out" if you ask me. :)

Wow your new version looks really great!! His torso could us a little more covering on the back but is still really great!! Wow I love his wing like things!! His legs are really nice, especially the lower part of them! The chain is a great touch on them! Overall this is an awesome Self-MOC!!! Awesome matoran at the end of the MOC!! His torso is awesome!!
