Osgiliath is the front line in the War Of The Ring. The Orcs control the Mordor side of the city while Gondor Controls the Gondorian side. The two sides lie in wait of the expected doom building in Mordor. The Orcs wait with glee and cruel anticipation, while the men of Gondor try to find hope through the darkness.
About this creation
This MOC marks my one year anniversary on MOCpages! This was my largest and most challenging MOC yet! It was a collaborative project with my good friend Mark E .
The MOC shows two sides of Osgiliath: The broken-down Mordor side, and the more built-up but still ruined Gondor side. Mark's half is the Gondor side and my side is for the armies of Mordor.
The figs were a combined effort, Mark making about half and myself making the other half.

This is a big step up from my first Osgiliath MOC. It can be viewed here.

Not too much to say on this. I'm just adding pictures randomly so there is no specific order.

Enjoy!

Quoting Rory Simpson Very good scene!!! Love the SNOT water!!! Not being a critic or anything, but i think if you had scattered a few blue see through tiles in the water, it would look better. A little texture, you know!! But great job!!!
Thanks!

The details are fantastic! I was pretty excited to find this, since there aren't many Osgilioth MOCs out there. Great job creating one of the best scenes in the movies.

Great job Aidan! Your pics came out really good, and the set up looks Awesome! Those orcs coming in from the rear are a good highlight of the orcs side. And the Skeleton hanging from the tower XD How did that get there!!! I have to say that was a ton of fun making that with you. I think that it would be fun to do a remake with the new LOTR legos. Oh and Blake; I think that orcs would keep prisoners, but only if they where told to by their authority. The guy in the house was kind an after thought anyways, we needed to put something in that shack there.

Quoting Stuartt Clark First thing first, it's a great build. I like the contrast of the two sides. But I have a question, do you think orcs actually kept captives?
Maybe they are just saving him for when they're hungry. :)

Hey Aidan, Great job man! You and Mark did a terrific job on this! While I think it isn't as detailed as it could be, the details that it has are very well done. This is a beautiful creation mate!
