Electric Teardrop Streamline Truck
As a logistics student, I get to hear about the future of trucks every day. Now fossil fuels become scarcer and more expensive, and the rules surrounding emissions become more stringent, the electric truck becomes more realistic. Besides that, the streamline of the truck becomes more and more importement, as it may lower the feul consumption. While hearing this story for the fifth time the same week, I was drawing plans for a MOC, Legoholig as I am. The trailer is streamlined as well and has no back or front. It can be used in both directions. It also has a rolling floor to quickly unload an entire trailer. This easaly the ugliest truck I've ever designed, but it was fun as @#$% to design. Hope you like it and please leave a comment!

I like that along with the introduction of more economical methods of transportation, the future also brings a kick-ass Afro comeback :P

Hi. Very nice idea, but I think the trailer is not as functional as economics dictate, because ther is a significant loss in usable storage place. the 'rig is very neat, A greta design! :-)

Quoting Shannon Ocean Beautiful !
Hi Shannon, Thanks for your comment, its cool to have "one of the better" builders looking at your moc. But I couldn't agree less:), I think it looks awefull, but I'm afraid this kind of truck is the future. It was fun to design and it came out quite as I ecxpected and I'm really happy with the outcome.

Nice, it reminds me of an "Air Force" rig in all blue like that, very cool, hope you're enjoying LDD!

Quoting Senator. Chincilla . Very interesting idea, idk how plausible an all glass cockpit is, but I like it. Very retro/futuristic at the same time. The trailer seems practical enough, if you move the wheels back to their 'traditional' spot.
Hi Chincilla, Thanks for your comment. An all glass cockpit might indeed be a bit tricky, i totally agree, but he, its Lego. I placed the wheels in the middle of the trailer on purpose. It makes it possible to use it botheways. However, it might be possible to slide them to one end of the trailer for better handeling on long strait ends while long hauling. I'll work it out, thanks for the tip!

Hi Chris, thanks for your comment. If you are talking about a truck in a movie, I think I know which one you mean. I'm enjoying LDD very much:)No lack of parts ever!
