I wanted to create a small craft of unusual shape that was comprised mostly of window elements and this is what I came up with. I hope you like it.
About this creation

Ok, I know the main photo is a horrible hack job. I no longer have access to Photoshop so I'm learning how to use Gimp. I'll try to post a better picture soon. With this MOC I wanted to use the T.I.E. windows in ways I hadn't considered before and it lead to the idea of a minifig sitting inbetween them rather than looking directly out one. The main goal after that point was to use as many window elements as I could without completely compromising structural integrity. It has to withstand a 4 year old...

I love how much detail I crammed in this tiny cockpit. Figuring out how to get the minifig in and out was a challenge in such a small space. I went through a few variations before I found one that my son wouldn't break every time he wanted played with it.

I think it kind of looks like a flying Stormtrooper helmet. I imagine it makes a whiney/buzzing sound as it flies. Yes, I live in a universe where there is sound in space.

I try to incorporate some sort of functional landing gear into my spacecraft if possible.

Just a rear shot. My camera really sucks, sorry for the grainy pics.

I would really prefer using all the same color window elements but you work with what you got. The 'clear' window element is around 30 years old.

Quoting DeTomaso Pantera Another cool looking spaceship! I looks a bit like a snailship lol I have all the SW technic set dismatled but all the sets are stilltogether. I can't bare to mix them in with the rest of my Lego. I might have to dig them out and make something out of all the pieces. Any Ideas on what to build with them?
I kept them assembled and on my shelf for years before I decided I needed more shelf room and more LEGOs to make some new creations. I had just become a father and spending more money on toys for myself just wasn't possible. Now my kids are old enough that I can justify buying LEGOs 'for the kids' ;). I also worried about mixing my SW Technic bricks in with the general LEGO population, but I decided that I wanted more options and those parts were just too good to not use. As far as what to build next... I'm sure that's a hard decision for you. What do you build when you can build anything? You have a variety of MOCs on your page and it looks like you specialize in vehicles so rather than suggest something specific, I would suggest that you try something that is completely out of your comfort zone (if you have anything that's outside of your comfort zone). Whatever it turns out to be, I look forward to seeing it as it's sure to be spectacular.
