Northern England. 1095 A.D. A messenger bearing the English coat of arms comes with a message. He is to go to every small chapel and church and give one message.
A small church in Northern England.
Preacher: And God came upon the people and.....
Messenger: I come bearing word from the king and pope! *holy light* You are all to report to your nearest fortress and receive armor and weapons.
Man: But why?
Another man: Are we being invaded?
Yet another man: Is it the French again?
Messenger: NO! Pope Urban II has declared a holy war against the Muslims who currently hold the religious city of Jerusalem. You will all travel and fight for your country and religion!
Richard: Sounds fun. We get to travel and fight. Let's go!
Perry: But it sounds really dangerous. I'd rather stay.
Jon: Same.
Richard: Oh come on. What's the worst thing, besides dying for god, that can happen?....
Random archer: We're all going to die!!!!
Perry: Oh yeah, sure. Let's just crusade. It's not like we'll every get stuck in the desert. Last time I listen to him.
Jon: Okay, this is officially, a bad idea.
Mercenary crossbow man: No, it was officially a bad idea two days ago when we got lost. I'm only following you because I'd rather die with people.
Jon: Hey, isn't that the royal standard carrier? We lost him a week ago I thought.
Perry: Great. Tonight, we sleep with a week old dead person.
Richard: Come on you guys! This can be a good thing! It could be a test by god.
Perry: I like the written ones better.
Richard: Oh look! That could be a city! Oh wait, it's a rock.
Soldier: I knew I should've stayed close to the royal horse. I should've not of listened to these strangers. Well, we're all going to die. WAHHH!!!
Treasure carrier: Well at least we have some jewels from Antioch...
Soldier: We're all gonna die!!!!!!!!!

I like your narrative, the work on your church (especially the roof). I really like your work with the mini figs, however, that is the best I think. |
