Custom LEGO Union Pacific GE Dash 9 Diesel Electric Locomotive. This custom LEGO set is built from over 485 pieces!
Just the decals took several hours to create and get them just right. It is designed to be a model, but it can be pushed around the track without any worry of de-railment. Though it has three axles per truck, the third axle 'floats' and will shift left or right as it goes into a turn.
Many hours of work were put into making this the best possible model. It is a bit large at just over 48 studs long and 6 studs wide. As in the LEGO fashion, the cab roof is removable to show the operator chair, brake, throttle, and other controls.
