The URF-6-"Hawk" is an advanced 6.5 gen stealth fighter designed to be able to obtain air superiority over any foe.
The Hawk is powered by a high-tech reacter, capable of supplying power for months. It is a VTOL aircraft, and uses a combo of downward-tilted engines and 3 hoverpods to acchieve VTOL manuevers. The two thrust-vectoring engines are capable of letting the Hawk of achieving speeds of Mach 3. However, this is not nearly the fighter's top speed. The internal reacter supplies power to operate a high-tech ramjet which allows the Hawk to reach speeds of over Mach 6. This allows it to easilly overtake slower aircraft and outrun missiles.
The Hawk can stay in the air for months before having to return for a new reacter, as the Ramjets require no fuel. The unmanned nature of the aircraft also allowed it to acchive such incredable endurence, as well as allowing manuevering manned-aircraft could never hope to match. When it is not using it's ramjets, the Hawk can use two retractable nose-fins for better manuevering.
The Hawk is armed with 6 internal missiles kept in two side bays. More missiles would have been prefered, but space was rather limited due to how much space the other internals took up. To make up for the slightly limited ordnance capacity, an additional 4 missiles can be mounted externally if stealth is not desired. However, a new weapon was allso includedbuilt into the Hawk. The Hawk is armed with two lasers: one on the top, and one on the bottom. They both have 360 degree fireing archs, and draw power directly from the reacter, esentially giving the fighter allmost unlimited ammunition.
The lasers can be used to shoot down missiles and aircraft, and are allmost impossible to dodge due the the robotic accuracy and speed-of-light nature of the attack.
Besides being stealthy, the Hawk has numerous other special features. The Hawk is, like allmost all Conglomerate eqquipment, EMP proof. The fighter's nose is filled with an array of electronic warfare equipment, giving it excellent jamming capabilities. It can use both Passive and Longer Wavelength Radar to detect any 5th gen stealth fighter. Finaly, the Hawk has a fairly contraversial feature that enables it to stwich on or off whether or not it's reactor is shielded. If the shielding is deactivated, it will heavilly contaminate the area it flies over with lethal radiation. It is currently not planned to have to use this attack, but it may be used if deemed neccassary.

greta work,Nice to see a real brick build,I gotta build something soon but where packing up and getting ready to move within the month or next month.Boeing's idea of a 6th gen fighter would make it a piloted plane and also have the ability to fly without one,By not making two different plane's.Also the Verusian Airforce wouldnt require this aircraft because VTOL fighter's are heavy and dont have a long life and really dont suit our need's. |

It gets away with being VTOL by using hoverpods. |
