This was my husbands fire house for 20 years and he loved his house and my husband Kevin McLoughlin was taked away from me on 1-11-11 due to 9-11 We were married for 36 years and have 3 children and we have 3 grandsons and 1 grandaughter He loved life and i feel he was taken away from me to soon GOD BLESS you honey I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART YOUR WIFE VIVIAN
Dear Vivian,
I feel very sorry about the loss of your husband Kevin. I think he must be a great and loving father and grandfather. 9/11 was a horrible day and has taken so many great peoples lifes. It was so senseless. Every single person who died on 9/11 and afterwards will never be forgotten. So I'll add Kevin here on my 9/11 memorial where i wrote down every name to remember the victims of this tragic day. I wish you and your family all the best and my thoughts going out for you and your family Vivian. NEVER FORGET Kevin McLoughlin - January 11, 2011

You did a great job on this enigne. The black rims look sweet on this engine. Keep up the great work my friend!
Thank you my friend for this very nice comment. This rig is after the Rescue my favorite. I'll do my best for following apparatus in the future. The next one will be rebuilding FDNY E-10. The former E-10 is destroyed after crashing on the floor. |

FDNY's new Seagraves have to be the best looking trucks I think I've ever seen, and this build really captures their look better than anything on MOCpages. A few things I'd suggest in the future though, like Tom said, the rear of the cab seems a little long, and I'd change the lights on the front to 1x1 tiles rather than 1x1 plates. Engine 43 runs a very unique truck in the FDNY, and this build captured it perfectly.
Thank you so much Nick. At my next Marauder II i'll consider these points. It was the first completely new designed Marauder II cab. Much thanks again. Have a look on at Engine 201. hope you like it too.

Excellent work. 5/5 This looks great and has so many wonderful details. But I cannot help but think that it would look better in eight-wide in light of the scale you use for the length of the rig. At roughly 32 studs long it should be eight wide. The real deal is about 30 feet long and eight feet wide. But, that is just my eight-wide bias. This really is a great pumper. Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much for your comment. I'm very glad that you like it :) I know what you mean, but i have my complete collection in six wide. This is the reason, why i've built this pumper in six wide too. Eventually i'll try out to build a engine in eight wide because your trucks in eight wide are all great. Regards, Sven |

Thank you very much Phil. I'm very happy about it :) I have seen the picture with the red rims. I think the red ones are the original rims but they have painted it black. Have a look on this pic: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jag9889/4850123289/lightbox/ On this pic you can see the chrome wheel nuts and the black rims. |

WOW! This is definetly your best creation yet! What I can suggest is the real Engine 43 has red rims, but they always have dirt on them so they appear black. When I first looked at your truck I thought it had no wheels. Here is an image of 43 with the red rims http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3141/5748295438_07237b6b7f_z.jpg |
