Octuptarra Tri-Droid
This is my Octuptarra Tri-Droid inspired by the one created by Pedro. Hopefully I can order the pieces from Bricklink for this within the next couple of months. Please rate and comment!

Quoting Dan Wilkinson hi again, i 'finally' worked out how to make my Tri-Droid stand - i think you've already taken a look! how's yours going? it's funny how many detaily things i can recognise in the construction that are similar to yours/or that i tried at some stage then took another route . . . guess there's only a limited number of ways to represent these dudes in LEGO. i'm still confused how you don't get more likes . . . people really have no taste.
Yup! I saw your Tri-Droid and it looks awesome. Really nice job on that. But there are always multiple ways to represent something with Lego, you just have to get creative! Currently I'm working on a huge Tri-Droid, like the one seen in the Christophsis Star Wars miniland, and I'm going to post it soon so be sure to check that out. Thanks again for commenting!

Quoting Dan Wilkinson excellent! i'm working on one of these too but having trouble with the leg joints . . . a lot of the parts i 'think' will work just won't take the strain when i stand the thing up - i hope yours work as they look really good. i DO have a very nice design for the head though - a new approach i think . . . a globe made not from bricks, like yours, but smooth curved plates . . . i'll try and post pics soon. maybe your legs and my head should get together? Also surprised you don't have more comments/likes on this one.
Thanks! And I hope that you figure out a way to make it stand. I am going to try to build an actual version as soon as possible. And I can't wait to see how you did the head.

Quoting Chris Emproto really? no comments yet? this is incredible, and you got all the shape and details perfect! will it stand in real lego though? if it does it will be so sweet!
Thanks! And I too hope that it will stand. But if it doesn't I will have to work out a solution during construction.
