Osephus, Toa of Cobalt
Inspired by Gringat and Toa Phosphorus.
About this creation
Info about cobalt here.

Name: Osephus
Gender: Male
Element: Cobalt
Species: Matoran
Race: Co-Toa
Occupation: Stopping the gang war in Ghetta Nui
Titles: Toa, brother, Big Blue, that guy over there
Mask: Kanohi Pakari, Mask of Strength- gives the user super-powerful strength abilities.
Weapons: Broadsword, hooks, arm cannon
Alignment: Lawful good
Bio/Status: Osephus was an elementless Matoran, or Ka-Matoran. He was chosen to be part of a special OoMN experimental program to create Toa or other beings with control over periodic elements (who said the Periodic Table of Elements couldn't exist in the MU?). The experiment was successful, giving Osephus control over cobalt. Since the elemental prototyping had to be done before Osephus could become a Toa, he was a Co-Matoran for a short time, before becoming a Co-Toa. The hand that Osephus had lost as a Matoran was replaced with an arm cannon. Seeing that their work was complete, the OoMN erased all the memories Osephus had of the past few months and the experiment. With his new abilities, Osephus uses different colors to camouflage himself; although it is known for its blue color, cobalt can also be pink or green in halide forms, and Osephus uses these colors and combinations of them, to disappear from view. Osephus also uses cobalt's significant magnetism to his advantage. He now is a stand-alone Toa, without a team, who was recently dispatched to help bring peace to the island of Ghetta Nui. As of yet Osephus has not been successful in his Ghetta Nui mission, but he has not died yet either, which is a positive sign.

Thank you all for viewing this MOC!

More to come soon.

I think I'll stop saying which MOCs are next, because I almost never stick to that schedule anyway.

Remember, you can still request posters here! They will be posted on that page once they are done.

Bye for now. :)

Cool design. The body is very custom and sleek. I also love the elementless Matoran story you gave him. I experimented with an elementless matoran storyline myself, but what you added was brilliant.

I love this moc! Great color scheme. I would change the black shoulder because they are the the only black pieces, but I still think this is an excellent moc

Heh, this is wonderful. Just so you know though, he should have pretty nasty magnetism powers too >:) What else to say... well, I LOVE the use of the tohunga body in the chest - that's one of my favourite parts, that, and I really envy you for having one in blue XD. Funny story as well, I was working with some Cobalt-60 just the other day. Radioactivity ftw :D

Quoting Toby Otto This is Great! but why is he not in the Toa section?
Thank you! That section is for a specific Toa team, the Toa Rela. Osephus is not a member of that team and as such is not in that folder. :)

Nice, though it's a bit lumpy in places... I'm okay that it's a homage to phos, but just so you know, phos took Gringat's gig on the elemental toa thing, so... this is sorta a homage of a homage to gringat if you think about it :D

Quoting Strange I am Not that i know anything but maybe get rid of the chest armor on the lower legs or make the feet bigger.
Huh. I dunno, the legs look awful without the armor, and the feet seem okay... they look small here but they seem fine IRL.

Quoting Lego Obsessionist @ Backstory- Yes, not dying is always a plus.
Part of the story of Ghetta Nui is essentially that all the Toa there get killed. :P

Quoting RazorClaw (Skrall Razor) Excellent moc but I am not sure black on the shoulders are good I prefer silver(if you know how to do it :P)
Yeah, I would've, but that part doesn't come in silver. :( Also one of cobalt's halite forms in black and blue, so it sort of works. :)

Quoting L.A. Miranda Although I really like it (it's pretty good! *^*), for being a MOC from yours, I think that the arm cannon and hand could be much better...
Yeah, I was running out of steam (and parts) by the time I did the hand and cannon... He is still intact, so maybe he'll get a V2.

Love the overall design of it and I really like how you used that Mata nui matoran torso. Its a piece you don't really see being used nowadays and very original. Brilliant work!
