The Planet That Fought Back!
Mining for resources on a seemingly uninhabited planet awakened something...
About this creation

- Thoughts:

This whole idea started at BW2010 while talking to Mike Rutherford and Kieth Goldman. Mike told me the one thing I was lacking was any form of terrain, and he was quite right. His dio was impressive in both looks and technique. I used his horizontal landscaping technique here to try my hand at a small dio.

Enjoy!

Wow! I was blown away by the super modular layout of the terrain. The way you used overlap on different levels, I had no idea that the entire dio could be broken into so many smaller bits. This modular approach, when applied to a larger dio, would result in much greater ease of transport. The intricate work in the worms body is also quite impressive. The repeating slices result in a very fluid, tubular looking form. Again, very cool! Perfect face choice for the guy getting pulled down into the hole. Attack!
