Hi guys, this creation was mainly an experiment for some new techniques. It combinmes a lot of ideas from various other mecha, now let's get started!
About this creation
Background:
5th unit of the "Exorcists" squad, the "Malice Gundam" is a third generation Mobile Suit that was developed after Federation agents aquired secret plans of the "Sin Gundam".
Originaly, the unit was ment to be a recon unit equipped with an optical camoflauge and an enhanced sensor jammer system. However, as the events of the rebellion moved on,
the Federation decided that it's time to take the offensive...thus the need for an infiltrator/saboteur became clear.
Fed. scientist managed to redesign the new unit, changing most of it's equipment. It turned out that to acomplish the requirements for the new machine, they had to get rid of
the expensive and complicated railgun sniper rifle system and change it with more, less expensive weapons.
Soon after it's completion, the unit was transferred to the newly founded "Exorcists" Special Forces Squad, where it was assigned to Lt. Miria, a young female officer who was a
new member in the squad with his friend Sgt. Carson.
The main role of this unit in the squad was to enter the colony or enemy base, before the other units arrive and to create a hole on the enemy's defense.
While this unit is not a walking armory like the "Hurricane" or as agile as the "Valor's Edge", it had one critical advantage over the enemy...the element of surprise and a rather
aggressive look too...
Armaments:
-2x 100mm machine gun
-1x "Widowmaker" Beam machinegun
-1x Automatic Combat Shotgun
-4x "Dummy" missile
-1x Light Shield
-2x High Explosives
Special Equipment:
1x Optical Camoflauge System
1x Enhanced Sensor Jammer

Minimal Equipment(front)

Minimal Equipment(rear)

Torso detail:houses the Optical Camoflauge system, Thrusters, Sensor Jammer(can you guess wich mecha inspired this part?)

Head detail:giving off a chaotic aura(I'll admit, this one's from Warhammer40k :P)

Skirt armour and beam saber detail(has additional ammo for "Widowmaker")

Leg detail(new leg design)

Arm detail with 100mm machine gun: used as a last resort or in close combat

"Widowmaker" Beam Machinegun: a newly developed weapon that can fire high heated plasma bolts with a high rate of speed

Additional Equipment: Remote Det. Explosives, "Dummy" launcher, Automatic Combat Shotgun (inspired by the USAS-12)

Light Shield detail (with additional shotgun ammo): a lightweight shield that can stop 2 or 3 beam rounds before it fails

Stealth System:The stealth system requires a huge amount of energy to use so the pilot must choose between jammer mode or optical camoflauge, since both systems can't
operate at the same time. The jammer is effective while infiltrating the enemy base and the optical camoflauge is most useful in combat situations. Inexperienced pilots mostly
look at the screen instead of the radar.

Standing with shotgun

Fireing shotgun

Deploying "dummies"

"Dummy" system deployed: The "Dummy" system fires missiles that contain MS shaped tactical balloons to distract enemy units

The pilot of the "Malice" Lt. Miria. her aggressive fighting style strikes fear into the heart of the enemy soldiers, she's a reckless pilot who often likes to engage more than one opponent.

Unique, decorative without being ostentatious, and well-designed. I'm starting to see how you can achieve some very interesting shapes by building in minifig scale. I might have to experiment with the scale one of these days.
Thanks, I'll be sure to look forward to you making something bigger! :D |

Very cool! Probably my favorite of all the Gundams you've built. The head design is very unique and I really like the weapons you made for it. The scale and poseability are also top notch. Can't say enough good things about it!
Thank you. The head was inspired by Chaos marines from Warhammer 40k to make it more menacing. |

One of the best fan made gundams I've seen in a while. And would have the gundam deathscythe inspired the sensor jammer?
Thanks, sorry but I was talking about the whole torso part and not the sensor jammer being inspired. Oh and I haven't used any ideas from Deathscythe at all. |

Whew, I was worried about receiving attention on my entry due to you using my Images for your Contest Entry. Since it's a contest I wanted people to see your work by itself. But it looks like I have nothing to worry about. |

I was just curious. When you Post your Entry, are you going to use one of the Images I made for the Background?
No, I want to use these backgrounds only for my original Mobile Suits. I think I'll re upload a few pics about the Blademaster and the Werewolf as well, with the new backgrounds. Since the "Exorcists" are a 5 unit special team I'll use the remaining two BGs for two bad guys(I'll make an update for my Valor's Edge and Werewolf Gundams and I'll probably redesign the Apocalypse Sin too and the last unit will be completely new and not a Gundam type). As for my entry, it's coming along but still has a long way to go... |

For making dirt/scorches, the best technique is to create a new layer and use the "AirBrush" brush and a dark brown or black. Brush on the places that should be affected, Guassian Blur it a little, and then trim to fit. Good smoke is a bit more complicated. ^Blub^
Hmm, thanks for the advice, I think I'll try it out sometime! |

Nice sleek design. Andrew definitely made you a good background. And that last image is great. Excellent posing and placement. Though you should take it a step further. A little bit of dirt and scorching, maybe some smoke would make it killer. If you like, I'd be happy to show you what I mean. ^Blub^
Hmm I'm interested in what you have imagined! :) I was thinking on some smaller effects too but I'm pretty green at photo editing. |

This thing is AWESOME! I'm only gonna say this once though, The Baloon Trick doesn't work on soldiers of the Kilestian Imperial Marines. Organic, Mechanized or Otherwise. Actually, I don't exactly know what qualifies as an "Otherwise" in this case...
Thanks! |

Very nice Demon vibe from this Unit, very nice work on the weapons, is it just me or is there a touch of Deus Ex: HR in the weapons?
Well I didn't take any ideas from HR but now that you mention it, combined with the background it really does look like it's from that game, the original idea came from a concept art. |

Oh, I thought I should mention that your Link doesn't work, I'm only saying something just in case someone likes the BG and wants to see more.
Thanks, already fixed! |

Normally, I'm not a fan of Gundam mechs. But this is one helluva model. It really captured my attention. The head design looks so demonic, the weapons are impressive, and the color scheme rocks. Interesting use of parts for the saber beam and shotgun blast. Excellent work.
Thanks! :) It ironical, because this unit is actualy on the good guys side.

Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL work! I love the color scheme and patterning! That head looks so evil! Malice is a fitting name for such a brilliantly designed mobile suit!
Rated 5 for your technical specifications and takign time to present the unit's parts and accessories in sucha gorgeous manner!
Please take a moment to check out my MOC's and comment/rate one of them?
Thanks, I already checked some of your creations before this comment, they were rather nice and clever. |

The design doesn't really feel like a Gundam, unless it's based off of the various fantasy retellings like SD Gundam and such. It's still a rather nice design though.
Yeah, it feels more like something out from SRW rather than Gundam, but even Seed Astray had it's crazy designs, so why not? :D |
