MOC & MODding The SERIES 6 COLLECTIBLE MiniFigures!
UPDATE NEWS: (Take 4) 6 more figures have been added, I finished the series 6 MOCS (with MODS) and started on series 7. UPDATE NEWS: (Take 3) Monday, May 7, 2012 Four more figures have been added: The Mexican Bandit became a Waiter in a Mexican Bar, the Roman Gladiator is now waiting on the shore for a ship to come in And the Spanish woman is now a spy protecting the stash in the swamp! Another original is the farmer. I only have the Monitor to go to finish series 6! UPDATE NEWS (Take 2): Monday, April 9, 2012 Four more MODs of the "Collectibles" have been added: the Statue of Liberty became an opera singer! A skateboarding punk rocker, a female troll and a female version of MR BONES has been added! (Mr Bones I hope you like her!) UPDATE NEWS: Wednesday, March 14, 2012 I added a few new figures and gave the doctor a stethoscope from the FRIENDS set! I love what I did with the "Leprechaun" he grew and is he protecting his "Pot'o'Gold"! it looks like no one is getting near it! He even has a green snake protecting it! This time around I did something different for me totally different. I felt my way through all the bags and bought 12 minifigures then I got all 16 from ebay(tm)! So here I was with dupes! What do I do that's different from what I did with Series 1 through Series 4? (Yes, I know I have to do stuff with Series 5 and then Series 7 they will be coming!) I came up with two ideas: to MOD each figure in some way, to change headgear & wigs, heads, arms, torsos, legs and accessories. sometimes exchange one figures' stuff with another figure. Then to do this with only a 3x4 base built on top of the one that comes with the figure, this time no overlapping, no making the 3x4 base larger the story had to be told only in a 3x4 base. These are the results! Enjoy! My three favorites are: My ELVIS in "Jailhouse Rock", The Clown squirting the audience with her squeeze fish (yes she's from Series 5), and the Toy Robot now a robot in need of repair (or is he being constructed?). The 4th Place goes to the female astronaut examining a space ship portal!
