SWMPC R4: The "Flying I" I-25 Speederbike
My entry for round 4 of the Star Wars Moccer Paired Contest. I know it is a bit late, but I was granted an extension. Some of the techniques used in this are not mine, so I will give credit.
About this creation
The main picture shows an I-25 skimming the surface of Tatooine.

My partner Gerald F. 's homepage.

Moccer Paired Contest group homepage.

The I-25 Repulsorlift Anti-Infantry Speederbike, or better known as the "Flying I" because of a Rebel Pilot naming it, was a speederbike used by the Rebel Alliance in the first years after the Clone Wars. The I-25 was based on captured Imperial BARC speeders, and therefore was built using the same technology. It was used extensively until the Battle of Yavin in 0 ABY. It was retired after the bombing of the Rebel Base on the planet, but the remaining units found themselves in the hands of smugglers and traders throughout the galaxy.

TO THE MOC!

Overview of the bike.

Left side.

Back view.

Right side.

Front view.

Top view.

Bottom/Underside view.

Close up of the front of the speeder. The axes for steering vanes idea goes to Mack L. (Boba Hutt). I modded the design a bit though.

Close-up of the main section of the bike.

Close-up of the seat and back of the speeder.

The controls. A built-in screen sits atop the main engines, while the controls sit there as well.

The back of the moc. The exhaust come out here, and in times of desperate trouble, can be used to make the speederbike travel faster.

The airbrakes/foot pedals. Credit to Pied Pauper for this idea.

Overview with a rider.

The one angle you don't want to see; just ask any Jawa on Tatooine.

Back view with the rider.

The capacity of the I-25: 2 riders. A pilot and a gunner/extra set of eyes.

Side view.

The riders themselves. Credit for the leg idea also goes to The Pied Pauper.

They are a bit bigger than a normal figure. Here Sig-Kyle stands in.

Here is a quick picof my picture set-up. Not too fancy huh? It works though!

Finally here is a shot of the I-25 in battle. A rebel trooper runs along side. This was taken on Tatooine.

Well, I'm pretty satisfied with this. Too bad I couldn't upload it last week.

Comments and constructive criticism is appreciated. KP out!

Quoting Mercio ~ Nice.Do you know Why JP left.I didn't get a chance to see why.
He left a message on his homepage. Apparently he did something in Neatchat and mad a lot of people mad. IDK what happened, he said it wasn't worth staying on MOCpages, so he left. :/

Quoting Vored 03 Very cool speeder bike, it really matches the Star Wars theme! I really like all the little details, like the minifig-hands or the firefighter-minifig-helmet on the back. But do you remember our MoC-Off? I uploaded my entry approx. 4 months ago, but you didn't. That's somehow sad, because I have to force-quit our "contest" now.
I completely forgot! Let's just face the facts: You'd win anyway. My pieces are limited... Sorry!

Quoting Andrew AKA Hump-Free Hmm, has the classic Style, but still has it's own feel to it. Nice work on this. Oh, while I'm here, could you send me a message at the old HFR Email? It's humpfreerates@gmail.com
Unless I get my own e-mail, then I'm sorry that I have to say I can't talk. It's an unfortunate thing. Thanks for the comment Andrew, it's nice hearing from you!
