Republic LAAT/c
The front line transporter.
About this creation
Low Altitude Attack Transport-Cargo

The Republic army imploys this carrier to deliver mecanised armour directly to the battlefield front line. This variant of the LAAT has longer wings for enhanced stability when carrying large loads. It has a mounted pair of blaster cannons in the front and a single remote blaster cannon in rear. It is piloted by a single Clone pilot and there is room for other crew in the forward conpartment. Transports of this type can carry the AT-TE and AT-OT walkers as well as specialy made cargo pods. It is also capable of battlefield recovery, retreiving damaged walkers.

The pilot carefully brings in the ship.

Once the AT-TE is on the ground the heavy duty braces are release the vehicle.

A LAAT/c brings in the AT-OT, a universal carrier for troops or cargo.

The LAAT/c has a folding landing foot, so it can land any where.

This is definitely the best LAAT/c I've seen on MOCpages. It's the right length (which is that the back is close to the back of the AT-TE), and the landing gear is a stroke of genius. It deserves MOC of the day!

Quite awesome! An idea though, the LAAT/C variant can mount a large passenger bay, capable of holding 30+ clone troopers plus about 2 medical droids.

now THAT's cool ! ... but the walker looks like it's almost too big and heavy for the LAAT/c ... but anyways, it's still awesome.

Looks good and is very similar to the real LAAT/c. Im thinking about building a LAAT/c out of my new 7676 gunship and to answer your question:Yes the new Clone Wars LEGO sets are very good, I like every of them but I had only 7675,7676,7679,7681 + 4 Clone trooper.

It's a very good moc. But i gave it a four out of five because the round plate at the arms should be at the top of the round plate on the middle leg. I know this is freeking hard to make. I build it that way and I needed some more pieces to hold the AT-TE. Second: the dropship should be longer. In the movie the dropships are at least as long as the AT-TE itself. But anyway it looks good.

Great Photos! The Engineering is genius and the landing gear is perfectly executed. The only thing thats missing is the color. Its sort of a dark/navy blue coloration instead of maroon. Everything else is awesome!

Some awesome work, seeing it carry both the AT-TE and the the AT-OT made my jaw drop. The one and only problem i can find with it is the colour, i thought the carrier was dark green and not red like the gunships, apart from that it's amazing! keep up the good work man.

i ve always wanted o build this ...but i never had the time to and also i was stopped by scaling problems and compatibility with the ATTE ...anyway this is another fantastic creation of yours tho i wished you had put a little more detail on the HD braces for example...WIsh you would show us this baby with another republic gunship and maybe the ARClivery gunship that i like so much! PS: how do you get bigger pictures on mocpages???
  May 20, 2007
The sides and under side are plain, they could use a bit of greebling. also, I would get rid of the blue plates.
