Keras
A quadrupedal Nor mech. Armaments include machine guns and missile launchers.
About this creation
The Democratic Republic of Nor (or just Nor) is the government of Sar IV, the fourth planet of five in the Sar system. It had been colonized by the Sar, but soon rumors spread that the planet was going to be enslaved by the Sar.

After the Nor defected from the Sar both factions proceeded to fight over the rich ore mines of Sar III. The alloy created from the two metals was the primary material for Sar armor, and thus the planet itself was of great tactical value. The burning sands had to have specialized vehicles made for them, especially at the considerably lower budget of the Nor.

The mech's name comes from the 'horn' on its front, actually the radiator.

The orange star of the Sar system causes light distortion, especially at Sar V. Some people have even claimed that their sight has adjusted to the light, but the issue is still controversial.

The Keras' jump jets gives it short hops that can propel it from dune to dune, though heat is always an issue. The communications array is also located in the back, as evinced by the large antennae.

Each 'arm' is equipped with twin machine guns, though pilots are told to only fire one of the four guns at a time to prevent overheating of all of them at once. The missile launcher can hold either 6 medium missiles or 12 small.

The Keras makes a great anti-air turret. Pilots are told never to look directly into the star, even through their UV protected windshield.

Although similar in design to bipeds, quadrupeds offermore stability, essential to the slippery desert sand.

This probably isn't the best position to be in . . .

The pilot (now a placeholder) sits snuggly . . .

   . . . with his intuitive controls, kinda like a game . . .

   . . . and a reclining chair!
