Star Tours announces the arrival of a new MOC by daevster. All passengers, please prepare for immediate boarding!
About this creation
"What is it now, Artoo? Don’t get technical with me! What pressure? The fuel pressure?! Well, why didn’t you say so in the first place? Let me check. Yes, I am getting a rather high reading here. Oh! Yes, Artoo, I’m shutting off the main line right now!!! Just you get back to fixing that motivator! These new transports are impossible!"
This is a creation that I have had completed since around June of 2011, but never got a chance to actually do something with. I always meant to make a Star Tours stop-motion film, but the idea never really stuck with me. Then, when I first saw the pictures of the 2012 Star Wars sets, I just knew I had to wait for the awesome updated 3PO fig before I could post this. So, finally, after the long wait, and $20 of buying the "Droid Escape" set, my MOC is complete :)

I even remembered the silver leg ;)

The base lights up (though hard to see in this picture.)
"We do hope you enjoyed your tour of Endor, and will come back soon. Now please remain seated until the captain has opened the exit doors. You may then unlatch your safety restraints by pressing the release button on your left. Oh, and do make sure you have your personal belongings. Thank you. Goodbye!"
*Based off the Star Tours attraction by the creative minds of Disney and George Lucas.

Great build. I've never been to Disneyland but this certainly makes it look great. The base is my favorite part. |

I went to Disney just last April, and I rode Star Tours and LOVED it. I wanted to do it again, but we didn't have the time. 5/5! |

Really nice work! Looks just like the display in the queue line. Love how you added the one chrome leg (If I remember, the C3PO in the ride has one lower leg that is a different color). Good stuff! |

Nice little vig you have here. I like how you added C-3PO's silver leg. If only the rest of him was crome though, he's a little odd looking with that one shiny leg. The rest is pretty cool, too. I'll keep trying to check in with what's new. You're pretty good. |
