My own version of Makuta from the first BIONICLE movie. The set brought out was ok and set the basis for this moc but I felt that he needed to be more 'badass' and imposing, so I just gave him a little boost.
Takanuva was also a fun little piece to make Makuta look even more imposing here.
About this creation
I decided to include a Kraata just for added detail.
Full frontal shot of the larger Makuta. I wishI could've had the completed set lego brought out beside him to show the size difference.
Foot design was only slightly modeled after the sets design.
Thigh detailing.
Crotch detailing that shows a seperate area that was designed and then attached to the torso.
Side view of the chest shows that I did use some of the origonal design from the set but I liked the way the tubing went under the chest cavity and to the shoulder areas.
Head view shows thatI kept the mask but I beleive that I changed the way it attaches to the body.
A view of the hand shows thatI made it so it opened and closed. I wanted to make it larger aswel to fit in scale with the rest of the moc.
I'm not happy to this day with the shoulders but they seemed to work.
A full view of Makutas' back shows the full torso back. I kept the pincer piece in the centre but built up around it.
The back of the leg can be seen here and there is little detailing as it's all set on the front.
The back/underside of the crotch area here shows very little of how it was constructed.
A close up of the back shows the pincer with a few armour pieces on the back area of the shoulder joints.
Here you can see that I did in-fact keep the head connection design.
An underside and back shot of the chest cavity shows tubing going under.
A torso shot here shows him in an attacking pose.
A larger view of the previous image with Takanuva attemtping to battle Makuta.
Warriors Stance as Takanuva defends himself from forces unknown.
A side view of the defensive stance to show some build design.
Standing in a relaxed pose. You can also see the spear on his back as it has an attachment peg.

WAY EPIC!!! The Teridax I'm making won't be near as good as that one, but it might be almost as tall [not completely sure yet].
Thankyou very much, I'm sure yours will be great ;D
