About this creation
This globe is build using around 3800 bricks. It's approximately 48 cm tall and 38,4 cm wide. It's build as accurate as possible using mainly basic bricks. A few plates are used to give it more detail.

This globe is unique with it's color scheme, detail and the location of the Greenwich meridian. The Greenwich meridian is rotated 10 degrees west so the big continents like Africa and South America look nicer in bricks.

During the building process I learned a lot more about our precious planet, but the greatest part of this project are the dozens of questions my children ask when they explore this globe.

I posted this globe on Lego Cuusoo to make it possible for those Lego fans, high school teachers and companies who already showed their interest, to buy and build their own Lego globe.

If you want to build this globe: VOTE! on Now is the time.

Happy building, Robert Blok
