Rosenbauer introduced a new chassis today. When I first saw it, I thought it was a rather interesting truck. And it was definitely an interesting build. The front-end SNOT was a pain in the butt. Thanks to Lee for showing me that they had a new truck.
Some of the under-body snot work. From the middle of the grille, all the way down (including the bumper) is all held on by the two headlight bricks on the wheel assembly.
The Real thing. (Photo from Rosenbauer's Facebook page.)
I don't think this truck turned out as well as I thought, especially the funky roof angles. This truck will not be turned into another unit, and will be scrapped. I only did this for the fun of building something new.
With the single Pain Windshield it makes it look like a pierce velocity and with the grill it makes it look like a Spartan evolution. I think rosenbauer owes alot of credit to Pierce and Spartan for this cab
