Rise of the Legend 04: Protectors
About this creation
Deep space, roughly one month after the events in Rise of the Legend 3.

Jedi Masters Saesee Tiin, Yaddle and Qui-Gon Jinn and their Padawans have been tasked with protecting Correlian Senators Rash Tam and Kul Moren on their journey home.

Rash Tam: "I must say Master Jedi, I do feel much more at ease with you all here."
Qui-Gon Jinn: "We are just doing what is right Senator."
Kul Moren: "Where are your young Padawans?"
Saesee Tiin: "They are practicing their skills in the cargo hold."
Rash Tam: "Ah yes. The busy life of learning."

In the hangar, Hara and Obi-Wan are engaged in a fierce battle.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: "You're off balace!"
Harash Soru: "And you're leaving your defences wide open."

They grinned at each other as they ploughed on with their fight.

Meanwhile, Qui-Gon and Yaddle survey the bridge.

Yaddle: "Any trouble Captain?"
Captain: "No Sir! We should hit home in about an hour."
Qui-Gon: "Hmm, perhaps sending three Jedi to this task was slightly over the top."
Officer: "Er, Captain? I think you should see this."

They turned to the monitor to see a group of Mandalorian's hurrying out of the hold.

Captain: "Mercenaries!"
Yaddle: "Hmm, it seems needed we all are Master Qui-Gon."

Yaddle's comlink suddenly crackled to life, revealing the sounds of battle.

Saesee Tiin: "Master Yaddle! They are not Mandalorians, just mercenaries dressed as them!"
Yaddle: "Hmm, strange this is."

Saesee Tiin: "Agreed. However, Mandalorian or not they have captured the Senators. They are being taken to the cargo hold where I believe they are to be executed."
Qui-Gon: "The Padawans!"
Yaddle: "Go we will Saesee. Protect the ship you must."
Saesee Tiin: "Understood, the Force be with you Masters."

Hara and Obi-Wan kept their heads down as the mercenaries marched the Senators into the cargo hold.

Kul Moren: "You won't get away with this!"
Mercenary: "Why? Because the Jedi are here?"
Mercenary Leader: "By the time the Jedi are here we'll be long gone."

The leader raised his pistol to Rash Tam's head.

Harash Soru: "We have to do something!"
Obi-Wan Kenobi: "What?"
Harash Soru: "Follow me, and try not to get shot."

Hara lept from his hiding place, his lightsaber flying to his hand. He landed and slashed down, the blue energy beam severing the Leader's arm.
At the same time Obi-Wan charged forwards, neatly decapitating one of the mercenaries.

As Obi-Wan finished of the leader, Hara quickly turned and cut down the third man before he could attack.

The hold dors flew open again and Yaddle and Qui-Gon charged in.

Qui-Gon Jinn: "Padawan's! We are..."

Qui-Gon stopped as he examined the scene.

Yaddle: "It seems that beaten to the end we have been."

She smiled slightly at the two young Padawan's.

Some time later, back in the Senators' private lounge.

Rash Tam: "We must say young ones, we owe our lives to you."
Kul Moren: "Indeed, if you had not summoned the courage to attack those mercenaries then I firmly believ that neither of us would be standing here now."
Rash Tam: "You are their Masters. They are good students, and highly skilled. We trust that they will receive special recognition for their actions today."

The Jedi Master's smiled.

Saesee Tiin: "Oh don't worry Senators, these to know how valued they are."
Qui-Gon: "Naturally they learned it all from us."
Yaddle: "A watchful eye we will keep on both of them. For with them, the Force certainly is."
