Here is the "update" to "my" optimus Prime, from 29/2/12. Not that many changes and some of them probably wouldn't work so well in real bricks (the feet for example don't stand flat in robot mode).

Major changes:

head is now the version 2 model
shoulders have extra armour
legs have been totally redesigned to be longer
"wheels" have been replaced with direct-able hover units.

Version 3

Here is the second "update" to "my" optimus Prime, from 29/2/12. only a couple more changes.

Major changes:

Totally new foot design, more stable in robot mode plus looks better in vehicle form
New weapon
corrected mistake in lower leg which impeded transformation

Still to change:

- Mid torso section needs beefing up, but in such a way as to not affect the transformation.
- hands need complete rethink (no thumbs?!), possibly with adjusted transformation
- gun needs rethink, attaches to hand incorrectly causing robot form to hold it "wrong".
- shoulders need redesign, currently too small for general body shape and proportions.
- head reveal needs rethink, the current transformation mechanism gives him a long neck.
- waist adjustment, depending on how the chest area is adjusted to accomodate / hide new hands this area might beefed up a little. looks too small at the moment.

Quoting J Cooper Super cool! I would appreciate an LDD file a lot!

I've tried to find the ldd file as I'm planning on posting an update in the next few days, but I'm struggling to find it. DOH!! May be on the other laptop, I'll try again tonight. edit: I've added the LDD file for the version 3 robot mode only. transformation is fairly simple, the weapon is saved as a separate "group" so it can be detached without dismantling the hand.
