"Perpetual Motion Squad" Mocathalon 2012 entry (vigenetted)
It's December 1944, and a Navy PBY Privateer is flying a lone recon mission when it is suddently attacked and shot down by some high altitude J2M3 Raidens. Their gun fire splits the Privateer in half and the front crash lands into a clearing in a forest over the pacific. Its now over 60 years later, and it's still laying in the forest, rotting away...

Very interesting subject. Being an aviation fan myself, and working in the industry, I always enjoy a nice LEGO aircraft build. It is tough to make a vig pop, and this one isn't screaming at me, but the emotions of your build push your score up a bit. Score= 3. |

Mr. Alex, the detail in this scene is incredible! So indeed, you have beautifully captured the essence of the category. The shaping of the plane is superb as well. However, I would've liked to have seen some varying details instead of just plants.

Nice. I like the plants growing out of the plane. Some signs of rust and flak damage with either Lego or custom stickers would've have done wonders, I think. Meanwhile, a score of 3 |
