This is a mod I made of Lego City set 8402 Sports Car. I got this set a while ago for my lego town, but was not pleased with the car's overall look. I thought the vehicle must have been meant to look like something like a bentley; because of the long, high up hood on the car, and the minifig who is wearing a dinner jacket, and looks like the kind of wealthy person that would buy this car. What I did not like about this set though, was how far the front of the car stuck out- it was longer than the back! And also, it looked cheap with that white brick behind the grille. Obviously made by Lego with low-cost in mind, but I wanted to make mine better. I set out to make it look like a proper, dynamic looking sports car, like a mazda or a ferrari, so I lowered the front, added some sporty looking vehicle parts, and here it is! I used very little extra parts on making this set; some extra red plates, a pecie for the roll bar and the exhaust peice to name some of them, but i'm sure many vehicle builders would have those bricks at home. Anyway i am satisfied with the end result of this mod and i'd like to know what people think, is it better? Please rate and comment... Cheers, Kyle.
