The newest wave in Russian stealth technology, the MiG-39 will lead the way in the next few years for the Federation Air Force.
About this creation
So I basically took the cockpit section of the Su-30 and fused it with the YF-23's fuselage to make this. I always seem to like the aircraft that don't win the competition as I also love the YF-33 over the F-35. Seems to be my lot to wish for what can never be...
But, on to the MOC. It was a challenge, and a fun one at that. I had to kick around for 4 nights building this, and it was worth every moment of it.
It's about 1.5x as big as my JSF-1 and nearly 2x the size of my Su-90.
The MiG-39 has combined the agility of the Su-30 and the stealth of the YF-23 (which has an RCS just less than the F-22). It has the weapons capacity of an F-15 when external hard points are included. Internally, it is equal to that of the F-22.
The bays open up outward, but return within 1.0 seconds of missile launch for a total cycle of 2 seconds flat. It can stay open just longer in order to ripple-fire if necessary as well.
You name it, it can haul it. The MiG-39 can also carry the Israeli-developed medium-range heat-seeking missile. How did that happen? You'd have to be in the C&C group to understand...
