The second, much improved version of the transport
About this creation
This is the Whale Class Troop Transport, it can hold a total of 8 troops and 2 pilots. It is larger than my original, seen here.
The Whale Transport, is a transport, obviously. It has a few weapons weapons, including 2 Machine Guns and 4 Missile Pods. Due to its light armament it relies heavily on its top mounted Plasma Cannon, and heavy armor plating to get it through the battle.
While the four main rotors are to keep it in the air, the two rear turbines are for maneuvering.
I toyed with he idea of adding some type of weapon here, in the center, but I just couldn't get it to look right, so it was left off.
Now how do the doors open?
First the rotors tilt sideways.
Then the gullwing doors open.
And the troops come out!
The crew, from left to right, 2 Pilots, 2 Assault, 2 Scouts, 2 Mechanics, and 2 Recon (LOL, Battlefield classes)
Their weapons, I'll admit, nothing too special.
The interior includes gun rack and a zip line.
The transport underwent a few last minute changes, because I quickly realized it was way too tall.
See if you can spot some other changes I made!

This is pretty cool! The weapon systems are nice and the the tubes you placed underneath look great! Though it seems the propellers are not strong enough to lift the heavy body... I know it's a final version, but you might want to change it. Otherwise, great job! |
