A MOC based on the 1980s toy line Dino-Riders. Features the Tyrannosaurus from the new Dino line.
About this creation
The last of a series of MOCs I built based on the 1980s toy line and cartoon series Dino-Riders. ...I'll upload the rest in the near future.
The back view shows that it's a two-seater. The rear gunner is well-equipped to defend the dinosaur's backside with the two medium side guns and the heavy turret up top.
A close-up of the brain box. The design was highly influenced by the one from the original toy line because I was a big fan of that particular design.
The small automated, anti-personnel turret mounted on the underside is meant to keep lighter targets at a distance, where the larger weapons can make short work of them.
Threats approaching from the side are dealt with via the rotating command chair and rear turret, the heaviest weapon on the dinosaur.
A fantastic LEGO version of the DR toy every kid wanted (and I never had). Love it! It looks very menacing, especially since it's not a tail-dragger like the original toy.
