About this creation

Category 13: Ides of March

~May Contain Spoilers~

From Mad Men Season 1 Episode 12

Pete Campbell (a young account executive) struts into Don Draper's office with a shoe box in hand. The box contains artifacts of Don's former life as Dick Whitman...artifacts that could destroy Don's career. Pete casually mentions that someone mistakenly gave it to him, then launches into his theory on Don's past and why he would want it to remain secret. In return for his silence, Pete asks that Don "reconsider" his qualifications for a promotion.

And if you have never seen the show, please enjoy my 1960s-style Lego office, with Cube Dudes.

I've never watched Mad Men either, but i love your build and the "bloodless assassination" take on the catagory. :)

For me personally, it was slightly off category... maybe that's because I've never watched the show. That build was SWEET though (even though this isn't the FP category, I really liked that part as well). Attention to detail brought it up from a three (off category a bit) to a good 4 pointer. ~ Chris.

Mr. Wilkop, excellent work here. The smoothness and tidiness is very refreshing. Score: 4

Well, I really wish you wouldn't have spoiled the show for me as I haven't seen it yet. That being said, I don't think your MOC depicts the category fully, but your build is excellent. Score= 4

Great choice of the typical 60s pastel colours. Very accurate. Isn't this the show about an advertising agency? A friend of mine advised me to watch it and as a designer, I'm looking forward to it (still, I have to watch so many other series before).

Never seen the show, but that office is sweet! As is the cityscape in the background. The best of the style I've ever seen. That desk lamp is gorgeous.

Wow, those furniture pieces are true Danish Modern Marvels... how appropriate too, since LEGO's share the same heritage! This is EXCELLENT! May Lady Luck smile on you and your teammates! :)

I have never seen the show, but the cube dudes are fantastic. I really like the one on the right. His expressision seems quite evil, although I'm not sure if he is supposed to be or not. Great work on these! Keep it up!

Devon, I have never seen the show, and I do enjoy your 1960's style cube dudes and office. I particularly like the curtains. ~Dave
