About this creation
The creation is for the category "The Ides of March"
Build a scene depicting treason, conspricy, and plots.
My scene is the Stauffenberg Bomb. On July 20, 1944, a briefcase bomb exploded under the desk in Adolf Hitler's bunker, the "Wolf's Lair," in Poland. The bomb had been placed there as a plot to kill Hitler by his own staff officers. The plot included Hans Oster, Ludwig Beck, Friedrich Olbricht, Erwin von Witzelben, Henning von Treskcow, Franz Halder, Carl Goedeler, Helmuth James Graf von Moltke, Walther von Brauchitsch, and Claus von Stauffenberg, whom the plot was named for. These men believed that were Hitler to be killed, they could negotiate a treaty with the Allies and end the war. Stauffenberg placed a briefcase bomb in Hitler's bunker in Poland, during a meeting, and the bomb exploded, killing three staff officers, but Hitler survived. 7,000 people were arrested by the Gestapo, and 4,980 were executed, including Stauffenberg.

Wilhelm Keitel. I chose not to show everybofy in the bunker, just the major commanders.
Another shot of the whole thing.
To be honest, I'm not to happy with the way this turned out, but it came out better than I thought it would.

Don't get discouraged! If you click on the little hyperlink for learn some simple html, you'll see that you can't just put the web address you want to direct to, but you need to do some programing. It's really not as hard as it sounds... try it out and you'll be surprised at how simple it is! Good luck. ~Dave
Your links do not work because you have them in the introduction. We have been talking about this for over a week now. The build is pretty basic as well. Your score = 1 (I took a point off for non working links, but at least you tried to put them in)
