Fallen persons with entrapment.
At around 7:10 CCFD crews where dispatched to a building site downtown,to find a site worker who had fallen through scaffolding and become trapped. He had been spotted by a passing PD cruiser who stopped to assist. After sustaining numerous serious injuries during the fall the man was left in a bad way, Engine 1, Medic 1, and the Clinical support unit where dispatched along with a WLFS Fire Rescue Unit.
About this creation

A CSU/HEMS air ambulance Crew start to assess the patient while fire crews secure the scaffold.





Engine 1s Driver requests a heavy rescue on the orders of Duty Officer Pope who was acting as the IC.




Engine 1's Rescue compliment.


The FRU arrives and the crew begin to unload its heavier rescue compliment.





The Clinical Support unit, used a joint responder with CCFD and the West Legolands air ambulance, onboard are a senior Physician and and experienced paramedic on secondment to the air ambulance from either CCFD-EMS or WLAS LHS Trust.




Crews start to shift parts of the scaffold to get better access to the casualty.




Members of Engine 1 start to cut away the scaffold


A Shortspine board is used.




WLFS Firefighers set apon the task of extricating the patient.


Rescue Tools

Medic 1 await the patient, they will be transporting him by land accompanied by the CSU doctor.


Crews start to lift out the casualty.

Patient is placed onto a trolley, as the CSU team begin a rapid sequence induction in order to intubate


The CCPD officers get ready to race back to St Charlotte's Hospital, as an escort unit.


The CSU doctor Intubates the patient.


A Trama team at St Charlotte's has been assembled.






The Patient arrives in the recus room.


The CSU team brief the Team Leader


The Team Scribe begins taking down notes, from the patients identity, to this mechanism of injury, and all other information


"Ok, everybody got a piece"



"On my count"


".....3" the team move the board onto the trolley, the radiography team begin a Trauma series.


"Can someone page Neuro, and order a CT for this guy"




Happy with the X-rays the Orthopedod decides to roll the patient to attempt to access his injuries further.

I agree with Scott, this is just like "Emergency", I love that show. This is very high quality work.

Quoting Scott Bertaut Wow, this is just like in that show "Emergency!" I need to watch that again sometime. This LEGO rescue is great, they only reason I see why it hasn't gotten more attention is because it is so long. I guess most people just don't want to read all that. Great job on the sets, the decals on the fire and rescue people are fantastic! More, I want more!
I've just got my new camera working so yes there will be more, i'm just trying to design an interesting scene to work on.

Wow, this is just like in that show "Emergency!" I need to watch that again sometime. This LEGO rescue is great, they only reason I see why it hasn't gotten more attention is because it is so long. I guess most people just don't want to read all that. Great job on the sets, the decals on the fire and rescue people are fantastic! More, I want more!
