Worker Bee (Refinery Maintenance Vehicle)
An airborn craft for my refinery way-station, again using the creator pod for a cab. This time I've integrated a large technic wheel for the cab and engine linkage. The engine in general is quite nice, with its use of technic pins, and can be seen in the close-up.

I like this because it's colourful and it's shape looks like it should be zooming around a spacestation or industrial plant, doing a job. I think that the use of the big Technic wheel at the heart of the MOC is brilliant!

It looks like something that might be in a 1950s science fiction movie.

This is excellent! I always wondered how to implement the X-Pod canisters! Nice work!

Quoting Marshall H I was wondering if that tire was from the golden age Expert Builder series. What a cool gem of an element to have. Those tires were heavy indeed. Was that in your reclaimed collection? Nice David!
Yes it was from the reclaimed collection. I'm hoping I may find the other missing three wheels in the sack at my Mum's house.

Quoting ~ subatomicsushi I had a bit of a scale crisis when I saw that tire, then realized it must be one of the huge old ones. Good shape, overall.
It is indeed one of the old technic wheels from this classic set: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=8860-1.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I'm glad you like it. I should also note, that with that big ole wheel in the middle, it weighs a ton.
