Another MOC based on the 1980s series Dino-Riders. Features the Triceratops from the new Dino line.
About this creation
My second attempt at a Rulon Triceratops, this time based entirely on the design of the original toy. The main deviations are the brain box, as the original version presents certain problems to the Lego-builder, and the power source running along the spine. I liked it in my Valorian Triceratops design and wanted to keep it. My biggest regret is that, once again, I still have no Lego snake or sharkmen.

...and yes, I know that one laser tip doesn't match. My last red one bounced off somewhere to never be seen again right before I started taking pictures. :sadface:



The back view. In keeping with the original design, this one is a two-seater. This proved a little tricky, as the Lego Triceratops holds its tail a lot straighter than the Dino-Riders one did.



Also like the original toy, the driver's seat and radar dish (Tyco's words) can both rotate 360 degrees. Hard to tell who watches the road in this configuration though. ...the dinosaur, I suppose.
