About this creation
Galactica Hangar Deck

Mav: "Alright, Red, take it easy."
Red: "No problem, Sir. Those painkillers in the med kit really did the trick!"

Dr. Korund: "Looks like you'll be spending some time back in the lab with us, Private."
Red: "I feel like ants are crawling behind my eyeballs!"

Mav: "How long do you think to get him tuned up and back on the road, Doc?"

Korund: "I'm a doctor, not an auto mechanic. We'll get him patched up soon enough."

Nempec: "Great job on the mission, son. Just take it easy on those meds."
Red: "Mommy?"

Nempec: "Congratulations, Mav! Excellent work!"
Mav: "Congrats to you, too, Skipper! Heck of a fireworks show!"

Nempec: "Sorry to have to tell you about your man, Strummer. He was shot down, no transponder or anything."
Mav: "Heck of a good stick. He was still just a kid..."

Mav: "Did you miss me?"
Kuo: "Just glad you're back on deck. Too bad about Strummer..."

Kuo: "I hope it was all worth it..."

Levopolis: "Commander, I believe this is yours. Thank you for coming to my aid."
Nempec: "Just doing our duty, Mr. Levopolis. Pardon me."

Bonsch & McCoy: "Sir!"
Nempec: "At ease."

Nempec: "Congratulations, men, on a job well done."
McCoy: "Thank you, Sir!"

Bonsch: "Sir."
Nempec: "Time for you two to get some chow! Debriefing in an hour."

Levopolis: "Good thinking, Ms. Phipson, on informing them about my locator chip. Without it, I may never have been found."
Phipson: "Uh, certainly, Sir! As soon as we jumped to the Colonies, it activated, then I knew we had a chance to find you!"

Levopolis: "Again, Commander, I would like to thank you for committing this ship and its crew to my rescue."
Nempec: "I'm sure it was quite an ordeal to be in captivity for that length of time. We'll need to know as much as you can remember about the Athenians, and what they were after."

Bones: "Gentlemen. How's old Red doing?"
Bonsch: "He should be fine. There was some good stuff in the Raptor med kit! He’s not feeling anything!"

Bones: "Good to hear! Not sure what it was we blew up on that station, but it sure made a big bang!"

Mav: "Bones! Great job! You bought us the time we needed. I knew you'd find a tender spot to kick 'em!"

Mav: "Men, excellent work today!"

Mav: "But success came with a high price. We lost our man, Strummer. He defended this ship with honor. So say we all."

Men: "So say we all!"

Poseidon Battlestar Group, Caprica Orbit

Admiral Mahan: "Don't worry, Nancy, we'll figure out where the Galactica went, and more importantly, what they're up to."

Lt Kaleta: "Sir, Scout Ship reporting back from Canceron. Sounds like it was quite a route. They didn't destroy the Hub Station, but they took out several Baseships, and all of their defensive batteries. Then they just jumped away?"

Mahan: "They took on the Station?! Now's our chance! Captain Dendauw, inform the Proteus and Despina to join us. Let's finish them off!"

Dendauw: "Alert Status! Prepare to jump on my mark!"

Canceron Orbit

Fassio: "Jump complete, Sir!"

LT Fassio: "Scan showing marginal energy readings from the station, Sir. One Baseship adrift."

Dendauw: "Target the main axis of the station. Order the Proteus to concentrate on the Baseship."

Dendauw: "Forward batteries, Fire!"

LT Fassio: "Targets destroyed, Sir!"

LT Kaleta: "Sir, I'm getting a faint signal from the surface. Sounds like a pilot from the Galactica?"

Mahan: "Nancy, it appears we may have the opportunity we had been discussing earlier."

Dendauw: "Hangar deck, Combat. Have Cougar prepare a search and rescue team, and head to the surface."

Quoting Stuart Delahay Seem to spend a lot of time commending your work on backgrounds, FX and the like but something occurred to me looking at this episode today and that's the decision to use both fleshie and yellow figs. It's something I avoid, truth be told i'm not a big fan of the fleshies at all, but it doesn't jar here or stick out. Good work my dear fellow!
I've gotten mostly negative feedback about the skin tones, but I like the diversity. Honestly it didn't even cross my mind when I was selecting the characters. Thanks again for the comment!

Quoting Histo Sci Well, yes you are right, it did take a long while, but I was actually surprised that I didn't need a frakload of action and battles to keep me watching. I still kept on going even without the guns! :-) So while not quite as good as BSG itself, I still loved it. Oh, and I am quite stoked for Blood and Chrome too! Any chance of Caprica of B&C themed creations?

You and that ship will be playing a key role in something, just haven't figured it out yet! Yes, I sat through Caprica, it took them WAY to long to get where they were going, then it was canceled. Had a lot of potential, but a lot of boring stuff unfortunately. Waiting for Blood and Chrome to debut!!!

Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy A signal from the surface? Suspense is rising. -- Good technique to show a longshot when you change the location (Poseidon Battlestar Group, Caprica Orbit). I'd use 3 pics instead of 2 when ships appear, one with no ship, one right when it appears and one when it's there. I think it's more 'fluid'. Maybe you like the idea. -- And I wonder why Bonsch knows so much about the good stuff in the Raptor med kit, hehehe.
Yes, suspense! That's the plan! I see what you mean with the jump sequence, I'll figure something out. If you watch the show, and you should, they tend to jump in turn, but you're right, maybe a shot before they arrive would be good. Maybe Bonsch is planning to go into pharmacy after the service? Thanks again for the helpfull comment!

Quoting Leda Kat =^..^= What is your process for these episodes? Is the whole story been written out a long time ago or do you think it up on the spot. Do you storyboard the whole thing before you photograph it? Your images are always flawless.
Thanks for the kind words! The process is haphazard. I come up with a general outline in my head, build stuff as needed, shoot scenes, then write the dialogue. But sometimes I do the opposite...

That micro Battlestar is sweet too, not sure if I have seen it before or maybe just didn't mention it. Sheesh I hope they green light Blood and Chrome, imagine the endless tangents available then!

Quoting StoveTop Creator So here is what I say... I believe I saw some new stuff, or I'm just being more observant? I noted those technic fan lift arms you have on the wall and the ship Red and Mav come back in, is that new or redesigned? Anyhoo, so say we all until next episode! :)
The sets and ships are pretty much the same, but maybe some different angles. Thanks for watching!

Very nice! As always. Love the vigs! Your dedication to this storyline is the longest I've ever seen in a MOC series, just wanted to express my appreciation for your continuance and providing us with a good read and action story!

Solid story, you really scraped it together. I did particularly like your nod to Leonard McCoy there; well done. ~Dave

What an outstanding chapter. They get better and better each time. The visual effects are brilliant. From start to finish I am captivated then left hanging. Congratulations upon another amazing chapter. Eager for the next explosively enthralling chapter.
