Inferno GT
About this creation
Made up by myself, but not too bad after all.

List of the cars features:
- independent, double wishbone suspension on all wheels
- working steering via the steering wheel
- working 10 cylinder boxer engine with rear wheel drive via differential
- 3 + N linear gearbox
- roof that opens via a gear in the cabin

The working N + 3 speed linear gearbox:

Behind the seat you can see a part of the drivetrain from the gearbox to the 10 cylinder boxer engine.

Looks better with the roof open though.

Some last shots. Yet another proof that I'm not so artistic, for that's what they should be.....

That's one sweet ride! Looks really cool and very advanced. I normally build in city but even if i did build in technics on a regular basis i wouldn't have the patience to build something like this. Great job, i like the .gifs and photo setup too. Only the middle one of the artistic photos strikes me as less so, the other ones are actually nice. The angled side one gives an impression of motion in the shot.

This immediately reminded me of one of my MOCs ( http://mocpages.com/moc.php/227755 ), as they seem to have a lot of similarities in basic concept. It also reminded me about the Mad Max car I had in mind towards the end of my building process. I like a lot of your features, but the way you incorporated the linear gearbox shifter is my favourite. Very nicely used, very visually appealing and it seems rather realistic unlike the usual mid-car, 5-studs-wide transmissions. Keep up the good work!

Wow! Really fantastic in all aspects - if this was a set I'd instantly buy it. The design is very convincing, I always appreciate if builders are able to create their own designs - which can be more difficult than trying to copy something. All those functions (my fav is the movable roof) are really epic, and I very much like your presentation with the animated GIFs. Keep it up!

Cool! At first, I thought the front looked like a VW Beetle! Anyway, great looking car, the shape looks excellent!
  March 17, 2012
I would suggest using two light colored boards as backgrounds, and a thick glass. Put one board on the floor, and place the glass on top of it. Then put the second board almost straight up relative to the rest of the set. For more help, visit my Jeep MOC - it's got a photo of my back ground set. Hope this helps. :) -LB Jr.

Quoting Senator. Chincilla . Very nifty, the buggy looks cool. I like the shape and the functionality of it all. But more importantly: how did you get them thar magical videos!?! O_0
They are not exactly videos, but GIF's. You can easily create them here: http://picasion.com/upload-pictures/ Just upload the photos and it'll make you a GIF. After that you can just copy the HTML to your page or save it on your computer! :-)
