The 01-DARKSTEEL is one of the first Mobile Armors, appearing after the Maelstrom War and used briefly by one of the MRX Team's pilots. A prototype flagship model, it performs exceptionally in high speed combat and was optimized with the use of an experimental Phase Shifted Armor. This advanced personal shield system is based on Maelstrom technology, which constantly regenerates itself.
Although excelling in ground combat, the Helios prototype MA suffers from unstable power distribution, high energy consumption, and particularly low aim precision (wich was thought to be of little importance as the 01's arms were intended to be used in high speed combat requesting more aim speed than accuracy).

I'll hand this over to you, and see how you can work with this. Aside from the limbs, the entire chest area is a standard stud built model and should be too hard to modify. The protruding section of the chest is moveable and contains a compartment to house one minifig.
I'm beginning work on another similar model, but more 'normal' which should allow for more customizability
