"Action Master" Omega Supreme LDD
another of my non-transforming G1 transformers homages
About this creation

As mentioned in my Prowl/Blue Streak MOC, here is my latest G1 Transformers Homage... Omega Supreme.

Supreme features a much more chunky body shape than Prowl, which means much more limited articulation. However, by slightly extending the distance between the T-bars and the holes that act as joints, the waist and knees can be made to have a much greater range of movement.

You may notice a couple of the photos have his hands swapped. I started designing this figure from memory, and for whatever reason had the gun on his right hand and claw on the left. Most versions of the character have it the other way around, so I've corrected this in the LDD file attached.

the colours are as close to the G1 version as possible in LDD, but to be honest the orange doesn't look right and the wings really should be white not grey.

I'm planning two possible amendments to the design, first is to change the legs to give them a chunkier feel like the original toy, less articulation but a much heavier look. The second is to take inspiration from the actual Action Master version, (named Omega Spreem) who had a very different colour scheme. He also had proper hands. Since Spreem's transformation was quite basic it might be possible to adapt this frame to achieve a similar look.

we will see. Like most of my proposed changes it is mostly down to whether I get an idea for something else. plus if my work commitments take me away from the PC I'll probably not get around to them at all.

Quoting Andrew AKA Hump-Free Well, it's a normal File that contains Bricks that are coloured with the Hidden Colours, so it's like opening a MOC. Also, I too have Windows 7 Ultimate and I'm currently not experiencing issues, I was at first when I updated to 4.2.5 but I decided to run it as Admin and I haven't had an issue since. You may want to try that.
The problem with 4.2.5 has definitely returned, I can't even get it to load anymore. Tried everything I tried before, and nothing works. So if you have that set up file for the older version I'd be really grateful. Sorry I didn't reply straight away, but I'd had no issues for such a long time that I was convinced the "glitch" was fixed and I wouldn't need it. seems the issue is something to do with flashplayer, but since I'm running the most up to date version I honestly can't understand what the complication is.

Quoting David Alexander Smith Cool, your transformers are consistently good. Dinobots next time, please.
if you have any more suggestions just let me know. No promises, but I'm really getting into this theme at the moment.

Quoting Andrew AKA Hump-Free If you want, send me an Email, humpfreerates@gmail.com. I can send you a file that has all the hidden Colours, they can still be used as they were not removed when LDD Updated from 4.0.2, that will provide you with a Better White (Metallic White) and give you more options for Oranges. The only bad thing is you have to use the Dropper Tool to select the Colours.
thanks for the offer, but I'm having enough problems just getting LDD to work at the moment. Twice last month I had to delete all the set up files and reinstall because it just hung up on the loading screen. I don't think it likes windows 7 ultimate edition.

Quoting Chris Roach Good lookin fig - seems everyone is getting Spreem fever lately!
curiously OS wasn't my first choice for my next TF themed figure. I actually wanted to tackle a Decepticon, but for some inexplicable reason switched to this guy. It's been an ambition of mine to reinvent old Omega S with a more practical alt mode... add it to the list of projects I guess.
