Lasting from 0 B.B.Y to 5 A.B.Y this is the most venerated, most cluttered, most famous era of Star Wars history out there. Zero Years Before the Battle of Yavin is the original Star Wars film, A New Hope. The era ends shortly after Return of the Jedi, when Rebel leader Mon Mothma declares the New Republic. (5 years After the Battle of Yavin) For thirteen years those who wrote anything about that Galaxy Far Far Away, wrote it in this era. And Lucasís many companies still continue to try stuffing even more games, comics, novels and the like into these poor five years. Ironically I have found very few characters to make from this era.
My Wee-Gee minifigure from Soldier for the Empire. (Note that he also appears later in Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight.) Wee-Gee was a custom built droid created by farmer and Rebel organizer Morgan Katarn. After his owner was killed by a former Jedi named Jerec, Wee-Gee spent around seven years shut down in the family workshop. Kyle Katarn, former Imperial and Rebel agent, rediscovered the droid and found that his father had left behind a lightsaber and a map to an ancient Jedi battleground. Several days later, Kyle returned with the map and it was Wee-Gee who helped him read it. The budding Jedi took his loyal droid with him to the planet Ruusan, where the battleground was located. Wee-Gee somehow manages to avoid or survive the crash of Kyleís ship, the Moldy Crow, and makes his last appearance at the very end of the game. Yes, his heavy lifting arm needs more yellow, but I donít have those parts in yellow. The image for referance is copied from Wookipedia.com.
Here is Jan Orrs from the book Soldier for the Empire. Jan was born and raised on Alderaan. Her mother was the top choreographer for the Alderaanian Ballet and her father was a starship mechanic. Jan worked at a Rebel outpost until it was attacked by a stormtrooper detachment led by Imperial cadet Kyle Katarn. The officer in training spared the life of a hand full of Rebels, including Jan, but was forced to flee when enemy reinforcements arrived. Later, Jan and Kyle met again and Jan told him that it was really Imperials that had killed his father. Kyle was enraged and defected to the Rebellion and was almost instantly sent on a mission to steal part of the Death Star plans. After this mission, Kyle and Jan became fast friends. Jan was there to help him sink the Dark Trooper project and she was there when he became a Jedi and stopped Jerec from seizing the power of the Valley of the Jedi. In the fourth Kyle Katarn game, Jedi Outcast Jan and Kyle are working as mercenaries for the New Republic. A couple years earlier, you see, Kyle had had a nasty close brush with the darkside and, after training briefly at Luke Skywalkerís new Jedi academy and building a blue lightsaber, Kyle decided to forsake the Jedi Order. Dark Jedi Dissan and his apprentice Tavion Amaxis captured Jan. Kyle, led to believe they had killed his friend, retrieved his lightsaber and visits the Valley of the Jedi to regain his control of the Force as quickly as possible. He soon catches up with Tavion and only spares her when she reveals Janís location. On the way to rescue her, Kyle discovered that Dissan found the Valley and used its power to make an army of dark Jedi. After releasing his anger, rescuing Jan, defeating Dissan, and taking a well-disserved vacation with his best friend, Kyle rejoined the Jedi. I am quite pleased with how this minifigure turned out. Nota Bene: Jan HAS brown hair, as was specifically stated in Soldier for the Empire sound recording, no matter what Saber Scorpion says. Post Script: Reference page compliments of Darkhorse.com.
From the comic collection, Boba Fett: Man on a Mission comes a distinct, tragic story about a loyal Imperial officer whose Star Destroyer is crippled by Rebel sabatuers. Rather than admit defeat, the Empire framed the man and discharged him. In a final act of desperation, he hired the infamous Boba Fett to infiltrate the scuttled destroyer, race through its treacherous corridors, and rescue a holo recording before the ship's self-destruct expunged any evidence of Rebel sucess. On the way through the halls, Fett was ambushed by a set of Rodian gladiator droids, once the officer's body gaurds. With some effort, the mercenary dispatched the droid team. Ultimately, of course, Fett was sucessful, retrieving the holo of the officer's dead wife and delivering it to his desk. Unfortunately, the imperial was unable to pay what he had promised, so Fett killed him.
Donít believe your eyes? Well this is what happens when Star Wars makes a massively multiplayer online role playing game (Star Wars Galaxies); things like NK Necrosis appear. Apparently, the mechanical shell that once housed General Grevousí few remaining entrails was recovered by a war droid creator who made it into a new droid. This first NK droid wielded Darth Zannahís age-old lightsaber in battle, having been instructed by the few remaining IG-100s that had served as the generalís magnaguards. Necrosis wondered often that he might be inferior to General Grevious; the droid programmer assured him that he was superior to Grevious, this, however was not the case.
So far as I know only one other Rookie One minifigure exists, and that one belongs to Xerxes Fett. Rookie One, and the phantom TIE are both from the computer game Rebel Assault 2. Rookie was born on Tatooine like several other notable Rebel pilots. His early adventures in Rebel Assault 1 are contradictory to the official order of events, so we will just ignore those and focus on his life prior to the Battle of Endor. Rookie and his pals were patrolling the Dreighton Triangle when they heard a distress signal from a Correllian YT-1200 freighter being attacked by TIE fighters over Dreighton. The freighter was captured, the friend shot killed and Rookie One was shot down. He managed to retrieve the commandeered freighter, fly it through the local mining tunnels and take it and its vital information to the Rebel leaders. It turns out the Imps were developing cloaked starfighters. So, after destroying a mining installation, the rookie went to Imdar where a fellow Rebel agent would help him sink the Imdar Alpha Project. After riding through Imdars treacherous swamps, hijacking a Lambda class shuttle, stealing aboard the massive Phantom TIE factory, and impersonating stormtroopers the pair stole a Phantom TIE and used it to destroy the factory. When they got back to base and left the TIE it self destructed, pushing the invention of cloaked good guy ships back all the way to the Dark Nest Crisis when the Stealth X came into service. In any case, Rookie One survived and is still kicking as far as I know.
Not a very impressive looking droid is she? But then, on the other hand, Guri isnít your normal human replica droid. Guri was one of the offshoots of the Rebellionís Project Decoy, created around three years before the Battle of Yavin. She was purchased to be a spy and assassin for Prince Xizor, the head of the galaxy-spanning criminal syndicate Black Sun. As Xizorís most trusted official, she was completely loyal, lethal, and convincing. As far as any external tests were concerned, Guri was totally human, though a good bio-scanner could tell there was something not quite right about this incredibly strong woman. Shortly after the capture of Han Solo by the infamous Boba Fett, Xizor began a scheme to kill the estranged son of his biggest political rival, Darth Vader. The plot did not have the desired effect (because Luke is invincible), instead, Leia and Chewie dropped by Xizorís mansion on Courscant hoping the crimelord would reveal who it was trying to kill Luke. Xizor had something else in mind than divulging information, though Leia was hardly willing after she realized the Faleen was using his pheromones on her. Then, enter Luke, Dash Rendar, and the faithful droids to save the walking carpet and the princess. Long story shortened: Class A thermal detonator drops down a vent, every body makes it out of Xizorís tower before it implodes, the heroes in the Falcon, Xizor in the Virago, and Guri on a hang glider. After Xizor and his skyhook were destroyed by the vengeful Darth Vaderís Executer, Guri found her life purposeless. Eventually, she had herself reprogrammed. The likeness I used to create Guri was from The Star Wars Customizable Card Game, though a more readily available image can be found in The New Essential Guide to Droids. As usual, the reference picture is from Wookipedia.com.
This is Fenn Sysha from the old Marvel comic line. He participated in the Clone Wars with some distinction and later became the Mandalore (The Mandalorian leader). He was an allie of the fledgling New Republic during the Nagai/Tof incident shortly after Endor. He had a pet theory that Boba Fett would have made a better Mandalor than himself and finally got to test the theory on a forsaken planet, whose name I can't remember. They were surrounded by hostile natives and Shysa was dying from his wounds so Boba agreed to put the chap out of his misery. But first, Shysa made Fett give his word of honor to take the position as new Mandalor.
for nowhere man Darth Maul has only come back once but there is a non-canon appearance in a comic book that has him come back with legs like general grievous and long horns. Ben your mocs are really great, some of the best Ive seen, keep up the great work.
Ok, you seem to be an expert on anything Star Wars related. So... I have a question. How many times has Darth Maul come back? No one's ever been able to answer that question for me so far. (oh, and your pod salvage droid, the main photo, is sideways. You should rotate it 90% to the right, just thought I'd let you know) In regardence to (all of) your Star Wars creations, they... are... GRRRRRREAT (sorry, couldn't resist random Tony the Tiger reference)!!! You are one of the best Star Wars Mocers on mocpages. Keep it up! Nowhereman
The droids are good, the Guri minifig (oops, I guess that's a droid too) is better than mine, if only due to the hairpiece (where did you get that?), and Jan Ors' hair is actually the right color. I have a Rookiee One minifig, but your's should have different hair. I finally got two decent minifig pages up, so could you check them out?
wow whaaat that a nice mouth you have on you, you have no reason for saying this is bad. and you copied the dog thing from hawkeye 003 it obvious that you have a small self esteem and by the way next time you rate something badly give reason.
