This 50's Mack Engine is the parade Engine. It has been in the department since 1950. It worked along side a 40's ALF JOX aerial until the late 60's when the aerial was sold to a department on the mainland and this was made a spare engine. It was a spare until the 90's when a 1990's HME engine was bought. It stayed in the department but had no use until the idea for a parade engine came to the minds of the chiefs. It is a parade engine now and still is maintained well. The department hopes to find an American La France JO or JOX to go along with this truck in the museum.
