The Re-Killing Fields
This is my 2nd entry for the 2012 Mocathalon in the category Apocamoc! I went with the age-old story of a zombie outbreak taking over most of the population. The survivors use repurposed/modified vehicles and weapons to protect their encampments from the zombie hordes. In this case, our hero rides a repurposed mech walker called a Strider and uses a flame thrower to clear the area of zombies. As always, please RATE and COMMENT:)

17. ApocaMOC
2012 has come and gone, and those remaining on earth are surviving as best they can. Build an apocalyptic scene that clearly shows elements of the apocalypse. Anything from an iron-plated ambulance with a machine gun on top, to a impregnable post office building with razor-wire and zombie-proof doors. Definitions of the apocalypse can be anything from zombies, to aliens, to nuclear destruction, etc. Make sure it has clear 'end-of-earth' qualities about it.

Quoting Hayden . Really cool! I love the gas mask and the rider, but the zombies need more blood and maybe some kind of building or ruins would improve this.
I actually wanted to include part of a dillapidated building, but started to run out of time.

Quoting Dr. HappyBaboon , PhD Nice one! No way is that walker standing unsupported, right?
Actually, with some VERY careful posing, the walker does stand without support.

Quoting Master Shifu Leo J The dude with the gas mask riding that intimidating walker is creepy. More creepier holding a torch then torching them zombies ... but I guess zombies do not understand creepy ... Most excellent build!
Now that I look at it again, the human IS a bit scarier than the zombies! Go figure...

Very cool. The guy looks like he's wearing a typical 70s leather jacket. 70s and zombies always go well hand in hand.

Nice title. Really cool details. The zombie with black pants looks like he's running - maybe he should be more lurchy. And possibly the guy on the walker should be facing them more, instead of almost running away from them. Great stuff.
