The Highland village of Óir Starrfhiacail (Gold Fang in Gaelic) is located in the Airgid Corónaigh mountains in the North of Lenfald, home of the Faolstarff clan.
About this creation
Once again a LCC build, although it started as a build for my own universe, but luckily I could change it a bit here and there to write it in to the LCC.

The Highland village of Óir Starrfhiacail (Gold Fang in Gaelic) is located in the Airgid Corónaigh mountains in the North of Lenfald, home of the Faolstarff clan. The mountains hold a tough and hard to mine ore which can be mended and smelted to make Fangsteel. Tougher than common steel and it’s known to last hundreds of years without corroding or showing signs of rust. Although to get hold of such a weapon you must make the journey to one of the clans yourself, they will not sell them on markets, for you must prove yourself worthy to wield such a magnificent sword.

Kids from the clans are practically born with an axe or a sword in their hands. They learn fighting with real weapons long before normal Lenfel kids even take up a wooden sword.
Blacksmiths take great care of forging the sword and make sure that the cool mountain air strengthens the blade, as can be seen here (snake smoke credit to Strombringer)

Inside the Blacksmiths house.

to the left is the butchers house.

Inside the Butchers House.

The clan-leader is called Athair and holds the highest house next to the alchemist. He is mostly a veteran on the battlefield and knows how to wield his Fangsteel sword. Pictured here is Athair Whodyn Faolstarff.

Inside the Athairs house and next to it lives the alchemist Rhys Draíodóir.

A farmer harvesting his carrots.

Inside the Farmers house.
My hero, Velaryon of Strongborough, has travelled to the north of Lenfald to purchase his own Fangsteel longsword.

Deiros: “So now you’ve got your fangsteel longsword, can we finally go south?”
Velaryon: “Yes you impatient loreesi…”
Faylúna: “Uhm you guys, who are they?”
Deiros: “judging by the banner, I think they’re your friends Velaryon.”
Velaryon: “That’s my uncle Vysarion. And with him the master at arms Owain Breakspear and most of the Strongborian Guard.”

Vysarion: “Velaryon, your father commands you to return home. He says that, as heir of Strongborough, you should not go on these foolish and childish adventures. If you don’t return with us you will be disowned. We have a horse ready for you, so come on, let’s go home.”

Velaryon: “Dear Uncle, I have made it clear to my father that I choose not to reign, when he should pass away. I think my brother Vyncent would be a more righteous and just heir of Strongborough, as I have told my father many times. I just feel that my life isn’t meant to be locked behind the gates of Strongborough. There is so much more in this world that interests me and attracts me. No, I’m afraid you’ll have to disappoint my father, uncle.”

Vysarion: “This is your final answer, Velaryon? Are you sure?”
Velaryon: “Yes, I couldn’t be more sure of it.”
Vysarion: “Than I hope we will meet again, in better times. I bid you farewell Velaryon, son of lord Vyctarion of Strongborough, and blood of my blood, I promise you, you shall not be forgotten.”
Velaryon: “Thank you uncle and we will meet again, I swear upon my life. And uncle? Tell mother that I will be coming back. You haven’t seen the last of me, I assure you that!”
And so ends the story of Velaryon heir of Strongborough, and begins the tale of Velaryon, free man and adventurer.
This was my Highlander Village and to date the most awesomest thing I've built! But I'm sure my next thing will be even more awesemore..est... or something like that!
Thanks for watching and feel free to leave a comment ;)

Elderon.

Great design and detail. However...Farmer has bigger house than Clanleader? Anyway - now you just gotta make a diorama with Orcs attacking the village :) |

Great piece of work. Love your attention to detail. The garden with its rows of veggies is a nice touch. Your building are very well done. I like your creative use of those gray domes to simulate chimney smoke. Well done! |
